Brilliant update… grandly written

Maan was clearly angry and confused

his self analysis was reasonable

glad that he realised he feels more for Geet

liked that he wants to protect Geet at all costs

at least he curbed himself

great that he realised he has changed

so he decided that he needs to stay away from Geet

oh he decided on a course of action

well he arranged to get controlling shares of the artist management company she signed with

pleased that he wants to ensure that Geet is protective and given further opportunities

Lady A had no idea what kind of family Geet has. If she knew, she would have never let her go alone.

Maan's tender loving care was a sight to see. He is angry that he can do nothing to her family because she doesn't want him to.

Maan will not sit back and do nothing to her family. He has hit a long range plan. Its not clear right now, but there is something cooking in his  mind.

Next day he thinks hard on what he could do without breaking contract.

Without making her angry.

He looks at the situation as a businessman and gets his answer.

He arranges to get controlling shares of the artist management company she was signed with.

He plans to invest and participate in the company so that it will grow well in next few years and also it will be able to provide its artists (Geet included) with better opportunities for acting, advertising, shows and what not.

Last and most important action was to change her contract with her company from an ordinary contract to a gold class contract. Where she gets to pick and choose what job she wants to take up. She can refuse whatever she didn't want to do. Better PR and manager, stylist team etc.

To Geet, the company simply told that since her first series was such a big hit and she had lot of potential plus there are always possibilities of her being poached by others; they are offering her an improved contract.

Geet reads through it carefully and agrees.

Her mind would often be preoccupied with thoughts about Maan.

She thought she would be more upset over her family but once the shock faded away, she would inevitably keep replaying how she had berated Maan in the car.

One hand she felt she had said too much to a person who has shown her kindness and consideration at every turn regardless of his motives behind it.

On the other hand, she was scared.

Something about him at that time screamed extreme danger to her. Like a cold calculating predatory starving beast... barely held back by a flimsy check.

She wouldn't want to let him go after her enemies much less her family.

And although he had promised her .... it didn't look like he would be able to keep it.

Anxiously over the next few days she keeps check on news and rumor mill of any bad luck or terror has fallen over her family.

But seeing no such news for over 2 weeks she finally believed he would keep his promise.

Abhi situation palta hai

Pehle it was Maan messaging her…Trying to meet her.

While she was trying to avoid him

Abhi he is trying to ignore her and not contact her.

While she is getting anxious ki uska koi message nahi aaya itne dino se.

Geet ne kuch goodies nahi bheji, toh bhi Maan ka ya uske assistant ka ya lady A ka reminder nahi aaya about it.

It was radio silence from the other side, and she was feeling all conflicted.

Usne zyada bol Diya kya?

Wo naraaz ho gaya hai kya?

Or is he really indifferent to her and usko farak hi nahi padta so he had left her alone?

Did he meet someone else?

Is he super Busy?

With work or with this new person?

Subconsciously she is missing his messages and his teasing and joking without even realizing it.

Like a bad habit.

After more than a month of not talking, messaging, seeing each other Geet was anxious.

This time the shooting had been in a nearby city, so they drove back home.

Yet there was no welcoming message or a person.

She was back for only 2-3 days this time.

The first day she was back just away away like that.

She knows that Maan must be aware that she is back.

Yet he hasn't contacted her.

She couldn't figure out if he is angry, busy, involved with other people. Or he didn't care at all now after she reminded him not to get too immersed in the husband wife game he was playing.

Even the next day morning passed just like this.

The woman realizes that whatever the reason maybe, Maan probably wouldn't contact her casually anymore.

This is what she thought had wanted from the beginning.

But now it seems like she was missing him.

Missing his antics.

His crazy.

His smiles.

His scheming.

His care.

Just knowing that he is there.

His presence in her life.

She scratches her head and tangles up all her hair in anxiety and wait.

Deciding that she has to be one do something herself as she is the one who told him to keep away.

She suddenly rememberes last time she had promised to bake him a cake if he didn't call her by any weird names for a month.

And he hadn't called her at all.

So technically he kept up his side of the deal.

Having a clear plan of action now.

Geet rolled up her sleeves and gets baking.

Within an hour and half, she manages to bake a tasty cake and decorate it beautifully with delicious cream and some fresh cut fruits.

Once the cake was finished, she takes a beautiful pic.

She comes up short again, wondering what should she say to him.

She sends him the cake pic while unable to finalize what to say next.

Fortunately, he replies to her before she had to say anything.

Unfortunately, the content of the reply didn't make things any easier.

She only felt more guilty.

M - The birthday greeting is a week late. But thanks. I understand that you had been busy.

He thought this cake image was a belated birthday greeting…but... but ... she didn't even know it was his birthday last week.

She was immediately reminded of how he had pestered her before her own birthday.

In contrast she didn't even wish him on time.

She didn't even bother finding out his birthday.

Although their relationship didn't require her to do these things but... she should at least return such greetings and wishes... put in an iota of effort into things compared to Maan who is like an excited kid wanting to celebrate every occasion grandly.

Feeling extremely guilty she looks up his bio on internet and finds the exact date.

This date looked somewhat familiar to her as if some important event in past had occurred on this date.

Putting her confusion aside she picks up her phone again trying hard to do some damage control.

G- Yes… belated happy birthday. I personally baked this cake for you. I didn't know what to get you for your birthday last week so... I waited till I came back and personally make this for you.

Maan looks at the cover up message and snorts.

Liar!

He thinks in his mind but doesn’t expose her.

M - Looks nice. Thank you.

G- I don't know how to send it you... are you in office? Should I bring it there?

G- But might cause some issues…should I send lady A to deliver it to you?

Seeing no reply for a whole minute.

Geet musters up her courage and asks again.

G- Or... if you are free... would you like to come over here?

M - I'll be there within half an hour.

Geet breathes a sigh of relief.

Thankfully Maan didn't notice her ruse and accepted an ordinary cake as a birthday cake.

But since he was coming over, she thought to prepare some snacks and drink.

Then she rushes to straighten up her appearance, style her hair into a neat effortless at home look.

Applied some light make.

She agonizes over what to wear.

She didn't want to look desperate, neither like this was a booty call.

But she didn't want to look indifferent either.

In the end she chooses to wear jeans and a pretty top.

Lovely beautiful updates! Maan has fallen for her and just almost touched the border of this realisation and backed out! He is soo in love gosh! He maintains distance from her and she too hasn’t shown much enthu in getting in touch with him, although they are in each others thoughts a lot. The cake was camaflouged as a birthday cake, very sad that she didn’t even know it was his bday last wk and how beautiful he made hers! She needs to compensate for this mistake of hers. I hope all goes well in their meeting!

Well Geet did overreacted but still from her prospective she was right but still she has annoyed Maan & this separation seems to make her realise that what he meant to her

She was extremely guilty that the one who cared for her she has hurt him 💔 so it was Maans birthday & then Geet felt more guilty 

I really appreciate that Geet realised how he was excited about her birthday & she didn't even care to wish him on his birthday 

Finally with Little cover up & talks she invited him to her place & now let's see what comes up next
