Ok I didnt watch that episode so I didn't know.

Anyways doesn't matters now as Rahul's role ended long time back (even when he was there, he hardly had much role in terms of quantity or impact) and most importantly he was just 1 sided lover of Jhanak, she never had any feeling or any kind of relation with any boy/man till date (except friendship) apart from Anirudha.
