Or maybe after watching the chaotic writing in IM and so many other shows my expectations from dialogues and scenes has become super low 😂 so that’s why I find the lines in this one so much better lol

LOL...So true. She is getting all the good lines. Laiba too, whenever she talks it just makes the scene better. That is why I feel the scenes between Hareem and Laiba are actually looking so good.

If you notice, Faiz also had very good lines before. It made him look all adorable and cute with his shy love. Just that he is not there on the screen anymore smiley36.

I don't watch many drama's due to my time limitations. Even so I feel the dialogues are distinct compared to others I have watched so far. Sometimes being too poetic makes it draggy but here it hits the right note. Clever stuff.

I felt Kehkashan is now in a survival mode. If she can stay at Hareem's house (I mean according to her it's the worst thing that can happen to her), then she can ask for money as well. But she cannot lose Faiz. The only problem is she already lost Faiz and she is on a borrowed time. She could have used this opportunity and come clean and actually recovered Faiz in some capacity. Not listening to Laiba is the biggest blunder she is making now. Now to hide it if she makes another blunder, I have no words for her. The moment she said to Laiba I won't confess to my crime, I knew that would be a setup for something worse. Karma will not stop until it teaches her a lesson, given that's the theme of this drama. So, she needs to learn quickly.

Confessing to Faiz is the only thing that will save her relationship with him. I hope that's what they show.

you know I’m loving the realism here with how someone like Kehkishaan will always put her ego and priorities first. If she had listened to Laiba too soon it would have been too convenient for me. People like her don’t change overnight. BUT she is shown to feel guilt and embarrassment in front of Hareem and her dad. That works for me for now. This will gradually escalate while at the same time Nasir will also corner her. Leading to whatever decision she makes.

I know it’s taking away screen time from Faiz and Hareem but this comeuppance is just so delicious and juicy 😂😂

this is a typical and some people would even call a trashy show - but it has taken me by surprise as well with the strong dialogues and scenes. The writing has to an extent even made up for Neelam’s acting for me in this. Even if you don’t feel the impact of her acting, the lines do hit 👍🏼

sometimes a simple predictable story isn’t so bad if the dialogues and scenes can elevate it 🤷‍♀️

She was also shown to be reflecting on whether she needs to apologise to Hareem now or not on her entire car ride to Hareem's house. She knows she has to but decides not to only because she will lose Faiz. She knows the consequences of Faiz getting to know this...LOL. She is so scared right now. But she is indeed super guilty. That makes me wonder if she will ever ask about the baby. She for one knows its her grandchild. Will she feel emotional about the miscarriage? smiley13

In the promo, When Nasir was threatening, his wife was listening. I wonder that would bring some new twist. Oh god, there are so many possibilities for the truth to come out, but none are working.

I agree its juicy except when they show Mudassir and his family.

I so agree with you on this. The writing covers all the loopholes in this drama. I love this writer, I saw couple of her previous work and have loved them immensely. She is very clear in what she has to say. But here she is asking for more patience from the audience than her previous work, I wonder why and keen to see if she will close it well. Its got to have something, there are some lovely complex characters in this drama.

The villains keep this interesting haha. I’m invested in Nasir getting a taste of his own medicine as well. His wife also seems sexually frustrated as well. Leg has definitely not allowed for consummation even 🤭😂 Idk this drama is some kind of sadistic pleasure entertainer where the villain arcs are the focus point and it’s this dragged out suffering for them. Mazaa aa raha hai 😂

Mudassar is always there at the right time to get all the family gossip 🤣 It was super late at night when he dropped Hareem off at home. Why call him inside for tea? Only because writer wanted him to get the actual tea on this crazy fam 😂😂

There are many. The ones I saw were Aye Musht-e-Khaak (One of my favorites - I love this one) and Raaz-e-ulfat (Yumna is so pretty in this), that too recently like in January. Her name is Maha Malik. She writes so well. Her narration always hits a sweet spotsmiley27smiley27 whether you end up liking the story or not. I loved both.

Apparently her other one Koi Chandh Rakh is highly celebrated but haven't watched that yet.

Have heard about these and seen clips from both. Maybe once Khumar ends I can give Raaz e ulfat a try

Nasir's karma is going to be so entertaining. Lol....his life married or otherwise is non-existent and now he will be disabled as well. His wife is a nice match for him. She can also do something out of her sexual frustration...hahahaha. and we still don't know if something will happen to his sister. He married her off with the money he got by harming Hareem. They are focusing on redemption arcs which is so interesting. It's like wave after wave...
