This was an interesting episode, made me feel all types of emotions. I went from rolling my eyes at the saas bahu drama, insulting Surya for his scene with Anjali, feeling bad for Imlie to even being a bit happy that Surya did help out Imlie in the end, even though he went about it in such a rude way.

Anjali’s scene with the man at the station is a good example of her character. A man tried to steal her belonging and despite him apologizing, she still sprayed him with pepper spray. Not as a lesson but in order to get even because he dared to try and take what belonged to her.

When she gets to know that Imlie is Surya’s wife, she’ll definitely try to harm her or get her out of the way. This does give us a dichotomy between her and Imlie’s character. Imlie is forgiving and doesn’t believe in revenge, neither her nor Agastya ever went out of their way to hurt somebody.

It’s the same reason why Imlie told Surya to let go of the man who harassed her at the station, because she knew she gained nothing from that man being hurt. Let’s hope they keep drawing those parallels.

Not gonna lie, I felt really annoyed with how unfair and unreasonable Tayyi was being. This was all her ego and it had nothing to do with traditions. Threatening to call Dadi to compel Imlie to follow her orders was a low blow, especially when Imlie was basically pleading her to let her go because she had a deadline to submit her forms. I respect my elders too but if I was Imlie, pakka zeher mila thi halwa mein…

Surya ka asli ship meri chappal ke sath hai. He really chickened out when it came to telling Anjali the truth and on top of that he dared to be rude to Imlie on the phone. I can’t even call Anjali delulu because to her knowledge this is just her distant boyfriend. She described their love story in such a way that it could be a serial of its own, but ladke se koi feels nahi milti hai. You would think this is the first time Surya was also hearing about all of this lol.

There is slowly a domestic nature being built between Surya and Imlie, credit goes to Sai and Adrija for managing to give us this kind of subtle chemistry. It’s that feeling where everybody else in the room stops existing the moment they lock eyes. I liked the sequence when he tasted the halwa and when they were in the kitchen. Imlie’s gaze was full of accusations and Surya let her vent a little at least. His temper is always quick to flare with her but he’s becoming more patient with time.

I’m mostly looking forward to the Holi episode because at least we’ll get to see Imlie look all pretty and dolled up. Surya needs to set boundaries between Anjali and him, all the chipku-ness made me cringe. I can’t even blame the girl yet because she’s unaware that her fiancé is somebody else’s husband now. Anyways, dekhte hai kya hota hai!

- Anjali is not someone who will give up on any of her things. And she is super possessive and in total love with Sunny boy. So definite she is going to be the vamp. Looks like the writers are using this story to improve their writing skills and since they did a full chopat of Agastya - Nyonika track they are redoing it with Surya - Anjali. Waise what is with the creatives yaar - Could they not give any other name other than Anjali and Iconic. Please last show se trauma hain mujhe ab bhi.

- Surya does not seem to be in love with Anjali. He was not guilty or overtly sad - If it was someone who he loved deeply at least he would have some regret that with the way things unfolded he has lost his love. So I don't think Surya is deeply in love with Anjali.

- Anjali gave a rundown of their history of how they stayed together through various phases. So why do we need a flashback ? Could we not get an Agastya - Imlie ka flashback instead. Anyway Surya left Anjali at a hotel and asked her to go back the next day. He was about to tell her the truth of him being married also I feel if the phone did not come.

- I can't believe Imlie took so long to cook Halwa. Okay whatever. The time had to run out for her so it is okay. Nirmala is a complete vamp - She is going to put Imlie in lot of troubles. She intentionally burns the Halwa and Imlie is asked to make the Halwa again.

- I agree with Tanu - We need some lovely cousins in the mix with whom Imlie can bond. Can they get Arjun (Chacha - Chachi ka son) soon please. It was nice though to see everyone enjoying Imlie ka halwa.

- Surya did get the form filled and also the person incharge of getting forms so that Imlie can register for exams. So Surya does stand by his promises. Of course he is misusing his police authority just like Vishwa did. Looks like Purwaiya ke all police officers are like that only.

Imlie is still drowning in her babu's love and Surya is still treating this marriage as an obligation. Maybe Anjali staying in the house will finally be the trigger - Either for Imlie to push Surya towards Anjali or for Surya to finally take a stand for himself and the marriage.

Overall a decent episode. If the creatives got in few cousins maybe due to Holi it would be really good. Not going to lie, Surya has started to have a personality since the family came into picture. He is very respectful of his Tayiamma and he has great bond with her. Looking forward to Anjali making the entry now.

They did not need to show the scene to establish her possessiveness. The way she is so serious about the relationship itself shows how she will become negative when she realizes the marriage truth. See you may eventually see her making food for Surya - wont be surprised if his fav is also mirchi ka salan

It seems they did date but it was more like yeah she is my GF but I am not in love with her. May be he dated her coz she was friends with his sister and he wanted Malti to be happy. Same way he agreed to marry Binni for Malti ka sake.

I don't want to see the flashbacks, already current scenes dekh ke mich michi ho rahi hai. The flashbacks wont help us to like Surya more anyway. Also, they made Anjali mouth a lot of dialogues of how they overcame happy and sad moments as a couple - his career/ her education/ his sickness (shocked they remembered)/ his trauma etc. From Surya ka nonchalance, it appeared to be a superficial relationship so I am utterly confused. I am not sure if he would tell her the full reason - Agastya ki death in his place/ his video call/ Dadi ka promise etc.

I liked how she is jataoing haq on Surya - take me to the school, call Tayi so she allows me to go, the accusations in her look to Surya, her shouting back at him and mocking him for the promises ki duhayi. Anjali will definitely be a catalsyt.

I think Surya does know the culprits who wanted him dead na - He said this person is Guru Bhai or someone and this guy had panga with him when he was posted at his last post. He tried to arrest Guru Bhai but within 15 mins he used to get bail. So I don't think they are going to pursue this track any further. Maybe later on if Imlie wants justice for Agastya then Surya would track them down and take them out.

Please Ren - Anjali, Iconic and Mirchi ka Salan - All trauma inducing names yaar. Why couldn't they give another name to this person. Sigh. Ab socho if Sai ka next show(whenever it would be after Imlie ends) ka FL ka name Anjali ho toh

@Bold1:- Yes they are establishing Anjali ka character as way possessive. She is not going to be holding herself back if she comes to know that Surya has married Imlie. And the 1 year thing is between Surya and Imlie and I don't think they are letting it out to the family so for all purposes Surya is married to Imlie and this truth would drive Anjali to put Imlie in harm's way or in situations where Imlie can be hurt. I think that is when Surya will see the differences between Imlie's inherent good nature and Anjali ka delusional nature.

@bold2:- Yes Tayiji was more of ego when she ordered Imlie to make Halwa again. I think Tayiji is someone who does not want to lose control on her house and Surya marrying Imlie without even consenting with them has put her on backfoot. She wants to put Imlie in place as she does not want to lose Surya and she knows that Imlie is quite strong willed lady. If only Tayiamma knew that Imlie was 1 year ka mehmaan she wouldn't be this hyper. Tauba Kashish - Ramadan ke mahine main you are talking of zeher and all.

And Imlie also does not hesitate to talk about babu in front of Surya - like today she was crying and saying I want to study as that was babu's last wish. If Surya ever falls in love with Imlie he will never accept it to himself as he has seen Imlie living her life only for Agastya being his jogan. And one thing I really liked is that Surya does not even touch Imlie - He allows her to vent her frustration and calmly tells her to come outside. That is a nice thing to see.

Bold: Hota hai, Iftar ke baad sab hota hai 😂

Red: There’s going to be a point where Imlie will start falling in love with Surya. All the signs will be in front of him and he won’t allow himself to believe it. He will probably notice her jealousy and even enjoy it. But her concern will be something he won’t be able to wrap his head around. To be on the receiving end of Imlie’s love is such a privilege, Surya won’t know what to do with himself. Although I really want him to fall in love first this time around since the doors to Imlie’s heart are currently closed.

I didn’t get any boyfriend wali vibes from his interaction with Anjali. But I kind of love how Imlie and him went into pati-patni mode when he entered the house. The way he ran after her in the kitchen without hesitation. Him asking in an almost careful tone if she was overwhelmed by his compliment towards her halwa, even though he knew the real reason. Or the way she refilled his bowl at the same time as she was reprimanding him for his negligence towards her. Everything flowed so smoothly during that scene, it felt very natural to watch.

Imlie doesn’t keep any false pretence of politeness with him either, I like the way she told him to make a boat out of the application form since the deadline already passed or how she told him to go to hell. It’s tashan from both end because Surya also took a more assertive tone when he told her to wipe her tears and come outside with him.

This is currently what keeps me watching, Sai and Adrija are doing a wonderful job at portraying a different dynamic than what we’re used to with Agastya and Imlie.

No he didn't deny anything Anjali said so he was in a relationship with her for sure but may be to make Malti happy instead of being really in love with her.
