Why is Rohit so stiff

Gosh he is acting as if there's lot of pressure to perform.

Shehzada too was quite apprehensive earlier with time he transformed himself into the perfect man wife.

Rohit had the perfect vibe with Aditi Gupta he also did very well in UD. I feel he isn't himself or does not like the fact that he's a replacement.

RS has this habit of blaming actors for about anything and everything, therefore quite important that Rohit shouldn't buckle under set targets.

DKP isn't God's chosen production house rather actors remain in bondage when they join them. The perfect example is generation practically most of the seem to be relieved.

If he didn’t like being a replacement, he had the option not to join the show. Matlab kuch bhi.🙄

Give me some time, let him get into the essence of character, right now he has just joined a character who is already into existence from past 5 months. He needs to understand the character, give him time. In few days he will be into the character, ones he understands the complexity of the character

Set naya hai.. Role naya hai.. There was no time for him to prepare.. Shehzada took 5 months to come out of that stick zone... Rohit might take some time as well..

If he doesn't like he would have turned it down.. No matter replacement, he is going to remain as armaan hereafter till season ends.. After two months people would won't remember old armaan.. His face only will be remembered..

He's been here for a mere two episodes. Give him time. I'm sure he'll ease into the role.

He is under a lot of scrutiny from the fans. We know how resistant we all are to change. He's trying a bit too hard imo but that is probably just nerves.

I'm willing to give him the grace to prove himself. I do believe he'll do a lot Better if he loosens up a bit.

Everyone here disliked Shehzada here initially, it took him 3-4 months to be likeable by audience. Is it fair to expect Rohit to reach that in mere two episodes? That also when you are replacing the character, unlike Shehzada who got a new character. Imagine if shehzada had replaced gen 3 actor, would audience have considered him abhimanyu or abhinav? No, right?

Replacement actors need more time than the actor who got a new character to get a place in audience hearts.

Shehzada used to give tough competition to prats in acting dept during initial days. Many people felt actor playing Rohit was much more of a lead material. New actor has been here for just 2 epis. Lets see if he improves or not after few days.

The thing is at the stage where Sheh was replaced that itself is a tricky track. Shehzada was living this character. When they act for such long hours. the characters mingle with the actor and similarly, some part of the actor also mingles with the character. I remember Dill Mill Gayye, Riddhima was replaced 2 times & it was just normal track going on each time. Still, it was quite hard to digest as an audience. And the OG viewers of DMG will always pick Shilpa Anand (first Riddhima) despite the other two actresses being quite amazing as well. That's just an example, I remembered.

IMHO, how the character is written that also matters a lot. The writer has their own perception and then every actor has their own way of interpreting. Shehzada is the one who had been playing Armaan so apart from his face this character has his essence.

Coming to Rohit, he can be one of those who take time to immerse in a character. I have not seen much of his work so can't say good or bad. Having said all this, I too feel some kind of disconnect but let's see if with time it gets better or not.

You re right- there is disconnect also because the plot seems to have changed a bit- ruhi is more aggressive- in the process of becoming a professional stalker - and her approach to Abhira as though she is the wife leave the audience confused. No explanation for Rohit and his glasses, no nok jhok about it; less of the night time scenes that had an old world charm - with Abhira conversing openly with Arman for once, having their pillow fight- now the night goes straight into dawn. Rohit's romance stops at shaking Abhira hard with of course Ruhi watching. I believe all these have also led to disconnect. Besides, Abhira is presented as unkempt and slightly added on- seems due to the clothes- I might be wrong. The yelling, screaming is certainly not working to charm the audience.
