No I don't think having a GF is a bigger sacrifice by Surya because this relationship is not for keeps na. He is just standing with Imlie for the 1 year and maybe he is okay with this because after 1 year he can marry Anjali. Now Surya readily agreeing to the 1 year condition from Imlie kind of makes him a self centered person. Neither Surya is in love with Anjali the way Agastya was in love with Imlie or Imlie with Agastya - If the love was indeed that deep then Surya leaving Anjali to be with Imlie will be a sacrifice on Surya's part because he has let go of something that huge to fulfill the promise given to his grandmother and to honor his late dead brother's wish.

The writers are not going to go that deep. They are going to show Anjali as a joker and later Anjali will turn vampy and Surya will realize that Imlie's love and devotion is too pure and he will fall in love with Imlie. They will dismiss Anjali ka track as infatuation from both sides and wrap it up like Nyonika ka track. These writers can not write good angst wala 3rd lead stories and looking at the new actress I feel uska pack up bhi jaldi hoga.

I meant to say give a monologue now to explain his pov and his sacrifice.

This 1 year business was introduced by Imlie after the shaadi. He is in this marriage for a lifetime. He will not be able to let her go because he needs to protect her. See when she talks about this he agrees, because he deferring the problem to the end of the year and not having to deal with it now. Not once Surya told he will leave herafter 1 year. This is all from Imlie side.

See just coz his love for Anjali was not as deep as Agastya Imlie does not mean it wasnt love or he didn’t have dreams of a happy married life with Anjali. The truth is Imlie at this stage cannot be a wife that Anjali would have been. They could be happy together. If the writers are smart they wont show this as infatuation but a real relationship that Surya had with Anjali who had to give it up for the promise he made Dadi. This looks like a sacrifice to me.

Kavya, yes the camera shook a few times and made me dizzy. Camera man fault I guess.

Kashish, I agree the styling is so off now a days. I don’t even feel like watching the scene with such awful clothes the leads are given. Sai looked his best in the tip tip sequence. It was his best look in Imlie to date. I liked his Indian wear looks in most cases too. They need to make the male lead look better. This current fits are not cutting it for me.

Sunaina, he will fall for Imlie when he will see how Anjali is not the right person. She will try to separate them and in the process show her true colors of how she cant be a good fit for the family. This is why Surya will fall for Imlie.

All, it was stupid to argue continuously when the family don’t seem to understand, she should have rather made the food and left. I rather see Imlie take a stand here with the family than the stupid reception party. There was no need to argue with those people, I don’t mind her telling things to this family she is stuck with for a year atleast. Her points were all valid but I have always said they tend to get too preachy. In contrast, Surya would have made a better point in 6 seconds instead of wasting 6 minutes. He is a smart cookie.

Alright.. Since I have moved on from my grumpy mood, here's me telling you all what I liked today...

1. Sai- Adrija in a frame together just lights up my mood.. even if they are not supposed to have feelings for each other.. and are very indifferent.. that tashan is good to watch..

2. Nirmala standing out and keeping an eye, knowing ki Imlie ya Surya bhagne ki koshish karenge 😂

Imlie 's dialogue was fun : Bahar Pehredaar, andar Thanedaar.. (I can see the potential of her teasing him with this name.. Reminded me of someone and her Laad Governor 😂)

3. The girl playing Anjali is pretty.. Hope she adds good light moments and not pure vampy negative vibes.. her entry scene coming out of the quilt and bgm made me feel as if she won't be pure evil..

4. That garden wala chit-chat between Taiji and Suryaji was cute.. Just not sure.. ye Chaudhary Mansion me ye garden kahan se aaya.. humne toh har khidki, darwaze se taank jhaak kar itne episodes dekhe hain.. abhi tak toh kahin nai tha😂

5. When Anjali calls Surya and she says.. Surprise kaisa laga.. and the way he said.. "Laga.. Jor se laga" was hilarious..

6. Chachi and her ever-evolving cuteness.. with posing for a pic and calling Nirmala useless was fun..

That's it.. Let me stop right here.. before I start thinking of the end scene and again my blood boils 😂😂

Yeh sab flashbacks ki kya zarurat hai. Hum samaj gaye they were in a relationship. This is so not required. The writers are like headless chickens. Cant write a better character for Surya also.
