what’s with writers and directors and production houses and in some cases actors passing the blame on their sh*tty products.. this has been happening a lot lately ..

I think the director of apkdd don't really have a good track record anyway. Most of his dramas are boring or bad.

I feel a drama ends up being good only when the writer and director understand each other well and work together. With IM i think rind started considering himself to be superior and did what he wants to do with the script. He clearly can't take any sort of criticism so he might also be bossy and authoritative on sets as well.

wasn't pks improvised a lot too? this seems to be farooq rind's style.

Sometimes dramas are just terrible but there’s been lots of complaints lately about production houses stretching out plays for greed. That only applies to dramas like khaie tho. Ishq murshid and tere bin were terrible from the start so I think that’s just people not wanting to take responsibility for their mediocre work .

Yes but I guess it didn't divert completely from the source material. Zahjabeel seems to have more control than IM writer.

Sabaat’s writer is the only one I’ve seen take straight up responsibility for the script going off rails. Everyone else always has an excuse
