Ani in essence is a very calculative person. He does feel guilty, only at times when he is not in control I feel. Most of the time he compartmentalizes things well as a result of his household having politics day in and out.

The kiss one was on top so must have read only that one and as she hated it, she wouldn't have completed even that.
