He is not even aware of his feeling for Abhira now, romance not started..may be after that he might get more emotional now Abhira is just a responsibility for him

But for today's episode, he was a disappointment. It was the 1st day for the new Ruhi as well

But I liked her as Ruhi, I liked the changes she brought in the character which used to be a dull and irritating character for Prat's acting. Rohit as an actor felt dull.

I am not saying I want Sheh back but I want to see consistency in Armaan's character. I feel Rohit didn't get the character yet. Until he does, there will be criticism

That's the thing, isn't it. Prat's acting made Ruhi so dimensionless that we have readily accepted Garvita. But not so the case with Sheh. I know comparisons are bound to happen but both are different types of actors. Their method of acting is different. Once he understands the character totally, he'll be able to adjust himself to all the nuances required in Armaan

That scene I blame the director, not so much the actor cause he should know

what the scenes require but he messed up badly

The makers and writers of the show know their characters best ..if they okay something that is not in sync with their vision, they are either helpless ( like with Ruhi 1.0) or have decided to tweak their vision itself. I am going to watch the episode assuming that Armaan 2.0 is either the upgraded version more in sync with their original vision or they’ve tweaked the character to make it as far from Armaan 1.0 as possible in terms of how he expresses himself. Whatever it is, this is their vision now and I am going to buy it, so long as they don’t make him toxic or a two-timer..those I can’t take !

After that also not much improment Which lawyer cry like that ...so mindlessly cry ....crying is fine but not that level

Armaan was never asking validation from his father … he has argued with him many times before .. he knows that’s his real father so he takes him for granted ..

it’s always dadisa n vidya he is seeking support n blessing.. he is grateful to both of them ..

So his father n Abhira bond was kind of ok .. .. could have been a little better …

.but he has seen them before when Madhav asked Abhira to arrange the anniversary surprise, then both of them playing tic tac toe , then Abhira telling Madhav that she is leaving with Yuvraj .. so he knows they have bonded that time he never gave any special expression

. and his father accepts Abhira as his bahu only … because she is his bahu .. if Armaan considers Abhira as his wife then she is Madhav ki bahu / beti .. others are conditional.. subject to their relationship status with Armaan

To be honest, off-screen, the guy has troubled them so much that they have overnight changed the character graph on-screen. As in reverted to the original vision for Armaan. If I count the initial S4 episodes, Shehzada was and is a complete clown. I am happy I skipped those episodes.
