I thought she was also someone like the girls they have been showing all along who have been rejecting Saravanan including the latest one, Akila Is Saranya, famous? I used to watch lot of TV shows/serials in the 90s while growing up, later got married in the late 90s and settled abroad, career, kids kept me busy, restarted only in 2018 with PS- Season 1 when the kids started getting older, so I am not familiar with many actors and actresses in TV land. Now watching PS-2 and SA. Amongst reality shows, watch only Super Singer. Though I get Zee and Sun channels too, still don’t turn on those channels except Vijay.

They are going to show modern day KayanaMalai I have a feeling, Muthuvel, Saktivrl and Kumaravel will do something to spoil this alliance too or just not to stretch this stupidity anymore, they might show this marriage happening. Let’s wait and see if she is a positive or a negative character.

I have watched only one serial of Saranya - Ayudha Ezhuthu, which ended abruptly. Just that she is a well-known actress on Vijay TV. Acting okay than.

This alliance will work out, but a lot of drama before it happens

So if Meena is like Dhanam of PS-1, will the new DIL (Saranya) will be like Meena of PS-1 and Raji will continue to be like Mullai of PS-1? Yeah, I guess since Meena and Pandian are from S1, they are giving too much importance to their characters even though it is irritating. Ayyo, I'm hoping the new DIL will teach everyone a lesson.

But I don't want her mother to be another Parvathy. Irundhadhe onnu podhum.

From this coffee shop date, it is evident that Saravana should not get married and instead always be his father's pet and live eating his mother's food.

Now the parents are blaming the girl as if they are so perfect. Saravana knows what social media is but doesn't know to pronounce coffee as coffee but kapi. He doesn't have a fav song or movie or dish. Did he at least pay for the date on his own or did his father go into the cafe to pay for him? Which girl will accept someone like him? Even girls in villages prefer interesting men, not such boring mama's boys.

The promo makes me more angry. So Saranya's character is okay for Pandian since her mother mentions that her daughter will not work after marriage and they have a huge family. Now, I truly want the new character to be like Meena from S1 and steal S2 thunder.

Totally agree! I did not like how they blamed the girl for the alliance not working in today’s episode. We know what kind of people Gomathi and Pandian- bordering on worthless parents. As for Saravanan, how did he wver fall in love before? No wonder he didn’t have the guts to go against his parents to marry her, with this kind of attitude. Hope there is a continuation scene tomorrow ofcourse from Meena🙄 (she is the only one the writers want to give dialogues to say what is right and what is wrong, because they have dumbed down everyone in that family) about how wrong Saravanan is and how he did not meet the girl’s expectations instead was constantly talking about his family.
I really want Saranya’s character to give it back to Gomathi and Pandian when they try to influence Saravanan. Like I said, hope she puts Meena in her place too and not become a door mat. As for her mother character, she has been brought in to create chais like Parvathy, Kasturu and Kalaivani in Season 1

As for the promo, what can you expect from characters like Gomathi and Pandian about how right the girl is for their family because she doesn’t want to work and has a large family. Them and their regressive thought process is sickening. Even in Kathir- Raji’s case Gomathi made a stupid, hasty devision based in what others will say without thinking of consequences and ended up ruining 2 peoples lives.

In this day and age, we expect something better ftom the writers, not story plots dating back to the 19th century🙄

Yes, there is a continuation scene today, Meena as usual.

But surprisingly Saravana is self-aware whereas Pandian and Gomathi are deluded.

Why such extreme reactions to questions about nuclear family and foreign jobs? Why can't Gomathi say "No, we will live as a joint family", and Pandian say " No, we have no plans of sending our son to work abroad."

Why act as if the entire world is planning to separate the family?

I had enough of these marriage alliance shenanigans and Meena being Mother Teresa, I want Kathir-Raji scenes.

I have been telling from the time I started watching this show that Pandian and Gomathi characters are poorly written, flawed to the extent that they cannot be redeemed. Storyline is not that strong, always opposed to changes, different opinions, others POV and overall progressiveness. They taking the story forward as if only Pandian and Gomathi are right while others are not worldly wise and can make only stupid decisions with the exception of Meena. I am slowly starting to dislike her character with her over sweetness, interfering everyone’s business, eaves dropping on others conversations, has to give her 2 cents on everything that’s happening in that household. I used to be irritated with Raji’s attitude initially but now she has mellowed quite a bit, has learned life lessons the hard way, lost so many things in life unlike Meena who has always gotten what she wanted including her marriage to Senthil.

At this time, I really want the older DIL Sharanya’s character to put Pandian, Gomathi and Meena in their place.
I totally dislike the way Pandian treats Pakanivel, verbally abusing, ridiculing him as if he is Pandian’s slave and at the mercy of him. If Palanivel wanted he could sever the ties with Pandian and Gomathi and go back to his brothers, would be treated much better than the treatment he is getting at Pandian’s house.

As for Kathir- Raji scenes, I don’t see them being one of the leads anymore. Both have ben relegated to side characters like Palanivel and Arasi. Going forward it will continue to be Meena-Senthil scenes to show how lovey-dovey the couple and the new couple Saravanan-Sharanya’s character ( she has a big adjustment to make post marriage)

Raji fit very well into that family quiet easily though Kathir and her cannot stand each other but she has been nothing but a very good DIL, SIL to Saravanan, Senthil and Arasi, an awesome co-sister to Meena for being raised in a very rich family, it is very sad to see that she doesn’t get the due respect from the family members (like how Meena gets-she is kept on a pedestal) especially from Pandian, who dismisses her every single time. Going forward it will continue as well only because Kathir is not respected in that house, same will happen to Raji as she unfortunately is married to him.

I am so upset for Raji and Palani after today's episode. At least Kathir stepped up realizing his responsibility, and Pandian redeemed himself regarding Raji.

But felt sad for Palani when he asked whether his name could also be registered at the swayamvaram and Pandian said "Edhuku ivlo avasaram?"

We all want Kathir- Raji scenes to progress but nothing is happening in that front. They have one scene together per week that too mostly in the presence of either Meena or Gomathi or both. How do you even see them as leads as the writer simply doesn’t care for them like they care for Meena-Senthil, Pandian-Gomathi and Saravanan’s marriage which has become a joke.
The only way for Kathir-Raji story to move is by bringing the truth of their marriage out in public. Then I want Pandian, Muthuvel. Sakthivel and Kumaravel to rip Gomathi apart for her stupidity, her illiterate behavior and her ignorance/innocence which she is definitely not.
I don’t want Saranya’s character to be homely, want her to be a terror especially towards Pandian-Gomathi, want both of them to come down from their high horse and prove to them that they are bad parents, period.
