They earned it, especially Virat. Had he been an average player he would have been long forgotten by the masses. Saying the country gave them all is far fetched. He first gave his best for the game and then earned the love and even that has terms and conditions. Only if he performs well on field he is respected or else his wife and kids are humiliated.
