Yes definitely Arjun seems to be Chachiji ka son. I hope he is younger and has good bond with Imlie. I don't want someone who is older than Surya. I feel Tayiji ka son would be older and it seems he died by suicide.

They gave Imlie 16mins episode time? What the hell? Why? Why did they give Ghum 25 mins episode time? Why are they eating up Imlie's time slot? What the hell SP? This will affect the TRP.

I understand Imlie’s reluctance with accepting the marriage, she was really coerced and she barely got time to process everything. Even I get misty thinking about how Agastya is really gone, I can’t even begin to imagine how she feels at the moment. I’m glad Surya is at least more understanding and doesn’t force anything on her.

Sai and Adrija nail the window wali phone par nok jhok, no matter which character they play. Imlie’s pun with Reddy being ready is so witty, love how they write her dialogues. Even if her outfits are very simple, Adrija looks so beautiful. They just need to figure out Surya’s sense of style, because what are those shirts…

It’s felt kind of sad seeing Imlie finally sleeping on Agastya’s bed but all alone. I’m glad Surya’s heart is softening up towards her, something with Gul’s show and tears just hits different.

Yeh Anjali badi besharam hai yaar, why did she go from aap to tum suddenly. Surya better not show up to pick her up at the station or whatever.

Overall, still a decent episode. They’re really going with the saas bahu type drama and the actors are really giving it their all. Still doesn’t hold a flame to Alka because that woman was something else.

But I’m really enjoying the dynamic between the 3 women: Tayi, Chachi and even Nirmala. Imlie and Surya have their plate full in terms of family drama.

@bold, Sai needs better styling in the show for sure.

Alka had valid reasons to hate Agastya. He was her husband's child, a living proof of her husband's infidelity and a real threat to her daughter's right to the business. Dadi ka soft corner for Gattu made it all the more difficult. In comparison, Nirmala ka hate towards Surya seems to not make any sense. Specially given that Malti and Indhira both have accepted Surya whole heartedly and that he was adopted. Surya ke family ke all members except Nirmala and Malti are written well and make good sense.

I don't care about Anjali, Surya can go pick her up, no big deal. As long as he is not cheating on Imlie, he can as a friend go pick Anjali up. I don't think they will show Surya do any questionable things. They are already walking on thin ice if Surya is to be compared to Agastya, it will be counter productive to do that.

I feel bad for Imlie because she did not get time to grieve and got pushed into this wedding too (living in their room/ house with a lookalike also must hurt). But then again, she needs to only pretend to be Surya ki wife before the family and the relatives. Utna toh karna hi padega na, there is no choice here. She is fortunate that Surya is understanding and not forcing his rights on her as a husband. Pandit ki baaton main aake Dadi ne hasty decision lia but Surya till now is turning out to be a decent partner. Hopefully Imlie gets her happiness for the next 50 years.

Thanks for pointing it out. I usually don't see the length of the episode while watching but now I noticed it was really 16 mins long episode. What is going on, why cant they show proper length episodes? With the marriage track now they need to get them settled into a routine.

Anyway, I forgot to point out how much I loved Imlie putting Nirmala in her place. Despite herself being a widow she tried to trivialize Imlie ka pain. I hope Imlie continues to give back to everyone including Surya when they cross a line.

Just make her not disrespect her own wedding, she can take a stand against every other wrong that is happening. She agreed for the wedding for whatever reasons, Surya is her husband and is not doing anything wrong with her.

I really hope the short length is for today only. And from tomorrow onwards we do get longer episodes. It is going to be harmful for the show and gaining the audience during IPL. We don't want the audience to tune out of the show because nothing is happening in that time slot. I hope the short length is because the cast had an off day today.

I am glad Imlie is giving back to Nirmala. That lady seems to be against Surya and Imlie and has no love for Surya. On the other hand Tayiji seems to genuinely love Surya and I liked it when Tayiji said to Malti that if Surya says Raghu is bad and not right for you then I believe Surya. So I guess Tayiji would be strongly on Surya's side.

And I agree with Surya's point of view too. He fought with everyone to get Imlie in the house. So the least she could do is to not fight with them for every single thing. Surya was forced to marry Imlie by Dadima and even Imlie knows that. So I don't know why she is blaming him when he is trying his level best to be on good terms with her.

Exactly - I feel the team does have bank so I don't know why are they giving less time to Imlie. Is it to make sure Ghum gets trps ? So SP is okay with sacrificing Imlie ka trps as it is IPL season. Somehow the off for the cast for Holi and the short episodes is not going well with me. I hope it is not because SP wants to protect Ghum and is okay with imlie being the bali ka bakra.

Don't panic. The show is safe till IPL. They just got Surya ki family with the revamp. They wont go through the trouble if the show was getting off air. They have a bank (I think the leads worked really late last night) so Gul was able to give them an off today.

Don't stress about the length of the episode. Kal things will be back to normal.

more than us it's ph and channel money involved in making shows. Lakhs are spend on just one day of shoot. Why would they want their own product to run into loss . Don't fret over run time. They are in business for so long. They know what they are doing. We aren't privy to any insider details so no use of making assumptions

I was enjoying the episode and it really ended so soon.. It was Good to hear melodious song after long. When i saw imlie hasn't applied sindoor lol i knew Ye Aaj ka Mudda hoga Jaya Bhattacharya's screen presence is strong i actually enjoy watching her even if its not with leads. She is very good.. Casting is actually good.. And Ahhh she Said Ardhamainda sai must be like ye mujhe bolna tha

I can't help but compare the differences between both marriages of Imlie with Agastya and surya. Both are somewhat of convenience type. But with Agastya the romanticism and hope of happy Marital life was alive in Imlie. At that time too she may not be happy doing rituals but she didn't discarded them completely.

With Surya it's like she has given up on everything which reminds that she is now married . Role reversal has truly happened in Imlie universe

bold : We connected more with Alka because her situation felt so real. The bitterness inside her came from the fact that she has to daily see the symbol of her husband infidelity which is possible with anyone in real world. Her dilemma was so genuine. Agastya had khoon ka rishta with her Husband which creates the perception in audience mind that Alka and Agastya were binded together in a very complex relationship.
