Aaj kal episodes bahut jaldi khatam hote hai. I love the balance between the scenes. The screenplay is tight now and interesting as well.

Surya gave a flimsy excuse to his family why he was sleeping outside his room (beta roz roz kya bahana doge?). Surya Imlie conversations are so much fun, I enjoy their banter a lot. Imlie telling him she has done PhD in contract/ nakli biyah and he is new into all this .

While I liked that Surya didn't force her to wear the sindoor and even tried to make her an excuse, I want Imlie to realize she has married Surya and is his wife now. Even if inside the privacy of their room, they don't behave like a married couple, she needs to keep the pretense for the family and society. Surya went against his whole family to get her an entry in the house, don't create more problems for him. Precap main she wore sindoor so I guess that it's settled that she will wear the wedding symbols.

Surya has to balance three things as of now - his wife, his Taayi and Anjali ka delulness. It's gonna be hilarious to see how yeh aadmi phasta hai aur kitne smartly bahar nikalta hai.

Please change Sai ke outfits. These right denims make him look super lanky.

I absolutely love how they are showing him getting a impacted by her tears and be soft towards her. Him wiping her tears with his hanky while she is asleep>>>> This dynamic is fresh and interesting. Hope to see Imlie get her nightmares and call out for babu every night. Surya needs to know it's an uphill task to her heart.

Surya ki Chachi is such a cutie, Taayi lost her son to suicide due to probably a wrong girl(?) - dhanraj 2.0. I am quite enjoying Surya ki Tayi, she holds a very strong position in the household. Imlie will find it very difficult to make everyone accept her unless Surya is 100pc on her side.

Why was the episode only 16 mins long. There were no ads and on Hulu the episode says 16 mins. Every other show is doing 23+ mins ka episode. The 8 pm show was 25 mins and 9 pm was 23 mins.

I really hope we get at least to 21 mins episodes if not 23. Gul ko trps chahiye ya nahin ?


The episode was good and I loved Tayiji’s command over the house. The way she puts everyone in place - even the delusional Malti was good. Surya and Imlie ka banters are good. I am glad Imlie is not being meek and is at least showing her fighting spirit with Surya.


I feel Chachiji would be an ally soon for imlie. I want to see Imlie focus on her education and decide what she wants for herself. She also agreed for the marriage so she can’t disrespect the relationship. In the precap Imlie has put sindoor on so let’s see what happens next

They really have set the surya family drama rolling pretty neatly.. Dhanraj story that was not utilised, hopefully they will utilise it smartly here.. the revamp looks good.. each of the characters in surya family have their own story and everyone a voice as well.. chachi, Malti, Nirmala all are having their own pov and they are also getting dialogues..

imlie-surya’s banters also nice.. they have a different flavour to it.

Tanuji ke liye cousins ka intezaam ho rahe hai. Hemlatha chachi referred chacha as " Arjun ke papa".Yeh Arjun aayega future.

Hope he doesn't turn out as useless as Karan

The episode felt super short but I like how they keep building up the story. We’re definitely getting a Dhanraj 2.0 situation with the Tayi ka beta and it seems like the Chacha-Chachi have a son named Arjun, we’ll have to see if he’s young or old.

I understand Imlie’s reluctance with accepting the marriage, she was really coerced and she barely got time to process everything. Even I get misty thinking about how Agastya is really gone, I can’t even begin to imagine how she feels at the moment. I’m glad Surya is at least more understanding and doesn’t force anything on her.

Sai and Adrija nail the window wali phone par nok jhok, no matter which character they play. Imlie’s pun with Reddy being ready is so witty, love how they write her dialogues. Even if her outfits are very simple, Adrija looks so beautiful. They just need to figure out Surya’s sense of style, because what are those shirts…

It’s felt kind of sad seeing Imlie finally sleeping on Agastya’s bed but all alone. I’m glad Surya’s heart is softening up towards her, something with Gul’s show and tears just hits different.

Yeh Anjali badi besharam hai yaar, why did she go from aap to tum suddenly. Surya better not show up to pick her up at the station or whatever.

Overall, still a decent episode. They’re really going with the saas bahu type drama and the actors are really giving it their all. Still doesn’t hold a flame to Alka because that woman was something else.

But I’m really enjoying the dynamic between the 3 women: Tayi, Chachi and even Nirmala. Imlie and Surya have their plate full in terms of family drama.

Thanks for pointing it out. I usually don't see the length of the episode while watching but now I noticed it was really 16 mins long episode. What is going on, why cant they show proper length episodes? With the marriage track now they need to get them settled into a routine.

Anyway, I forgot to point out how much I loved Imlie putting Nirmala in her place. Despite herself being a widow she tried to trivialize Imlie ka pain. I hope Imlie continues to give back to everyone including Surya when they cross a line.

Just make her not disrespect her own wedding, she can take a stand against every other wrong that is happening. She agreed for the wedding for whatever reasons, Surya is her husband and is not doing anything wrong with her.
