It’s really starting to settle in that Agastya is really gone. With the Chaudhary’s exit from the show, even the house feels different.

Surya giving Imlie his jacket when she shows sign of being cold is a nice gesture, I like that it’s happened twice already. It’s feels almost meaningful like an unspoken promise to shield her from harm, kind of like the chai ka cup scene.

It seems like the Tayi really cares for Surya, she doesn’t mind that he isn’t their blood. Nirmala is the only one who has something against him. It’s paralleling Dadi and Alka, hopefully they build the emotional bond well so there’s a bigger impact during the family drama scenes.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the song they chose for the night scene, it didn’t hit the way the evergreen songs did. We’ll have to wait to see what vibes they push forward in this new era, especially until we get Surya and Imlie’s BGM.

It was nice to finally see Agastya’s room again, it still remains the prettiest area on the set. Similarly to Imlie, I couldn’t help but feel sad because every corner brought me back to their love story. We finally got some flashbacks and my heart felt it y’all. It’ll be hard to look at it without seeing all those moments.

I liked Surya pushing her to look towards the future but also acknowledging that the memories of the past will always remain. Imlie needs to focus on her education and on herself, I don’t want her to sacrifice anything for this family. They’re not worth her love, apart from the Chachi whose personality is super cute. I can’t wait for her to bond with Imlie.

It seems like the silk anarkalis are going to be Imlie’s post-marital looks for now, I was really hoping for sharees but kya karein ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Boy oh boy what an episode. Seriously did the writers change for the show now? Suddenly we are getting so much coherent and logical screenplay which we did not see earlier. Today every scene was done superb.

Indira and Surya both are good psychology players - Surya definitely learnt the art of manipulation from Indira. Somehow I feel the fight later on would be between Surya and Indira when Surya decides to support Imlie. I loved the whole interaction between the family members and Surya where Surya put his point across really good. He was assertive and when Indira tried to manipulate him he stood his ground and turned the tables back on to the family. Finally family has to agree to Imlie staying in the house. Surya - 1, Family - 0.

It was nice to see Surya being careful and considerate towards Imlie and taking care of her when she was sleeping in the car. And Imlie coming back to the house - The flashbacks with Agastya and the family were really painful. I think we were discussing how Imlie is going to stay in the same room with Surya and we wanted Imlie to get flashbacks. My eyes teared up when I saw the flashbacks and Imlie just did not have strength to go in the room where she spent with her babu.

The whole conversation of Imlie and Surya was done really good. And Surya has started to understand Imlie better. When Imlie was pouring her heart out, he allowed her to grieve and vent. He then gave her a reason to live in the room - Namely her family and her ambition to do something. Surya reads Imlie really well. He is going to ignite the fighting spirit in her like this only.

In the morning the family catches Surya sleeping alone so this is how they both end up staying in the same room. Malti still loves her Anna the most and she will eventually be on Imlie's side I believe. Malti and Hemalatha the Chachi might be on Imlie's side later. Nirmala seems to be a lost cause - she just hates Surya for no reason.

Overall the writing has improved tremendously and they are giving sufficient thought to each and every character ka actions/reactions. This was what was missing in the earlier episodes. And is it me or they have toned down Sai ka dark foundation.

Bold: Same to same, ever since the wedding, I feel like they’ve really toned down his darker foundation. It’s more noticeable during the indoor scenes. Both Sai and Adrija are starting to have that glow again. Now I just hope they start styling Surya better, nothing consistent about his fashion sense at the moment. I want them to keep making him look tall in comparison to Imlie, loved the emphasis on the height difference.

We needed Surya to be more considerate towards Imlie, it’ll also make it easier for us to start caring for him one day. Previously, it really seemed like he was apathetic to everything. The rare moments where he acted good, we thought it was a sign of him being August Babu.

Whenever Imlie spoke about Agastya, it used to feel like he was only half-listening, the next moment he’d find a way to taunt her with whatever new information he gained. But now that he feels guilt for his brother’s demise, he’s starting to realize how painful this all is for Imlie.

I’m ok with Imlie being the angry one because I need her to actually give herself the time to grieve what she lost.

Yes he now listens to her pain and processes it and respects it. I am glad he acknowledged that it will not be possible for her to let go off the past but rather she accepts the future and cherish her past.

Surya is shrewd with the world but now soft with Imlie. I am happy he is the majboor one in the relationship. Always hate it when the men have the upper hand in a hate or majboori shaadi. This time Imlie will be angry while Surya will be patient. I love this dynamic.

It will be interesting to see how the situation changes when they are forced to live in the same room. Imlie seeing Surya take place of Agastya in the family ka life, her life as a husband and now the room. She is not going to be happy about it for sure.

Her current outfits remind me of Imlie’s nightsuits during the contract era…still cute just not giving what it’s suppose to give for post marital look ya know

Today all the actors aced their parts. I am really glad that they are giving valid thoughts and points to every new character and they are not relegating few of them to being wall paper in the scene. I loved the whole conversation of Surya with his family members and everyone aced well. This is what was missing with Chaudhary family. Mannu bua and Chachaji were wallpapers in the show earlier.

Yes ever since the wedding I feel the team has toned down Sai ka dark foundation. I am really glad that they are adding more layers to Surya's character. I liked the way Surya said that he can not leave his wife as that would mean he is giving a similar wound to Imlie as his TayiAmma had gone through. I loved the way he is assertive and he does not bend down to the family ka zidd. One thing I hate the most is ML with no spine.

This also means that Anjali when she comes back can try to separate Surya - Imlie but apna banda chodne wala nahin hain. Also Surya did not go away with Imlie rather he waited in the angaan for his family to understand his point of view and accept his decision. That means he is not someone who is going to give up on a relationship without giving his 100% to it.

I especially loved the way he allowed Imlie to vent away her feelings. Imlie never had time to grieve over what was lost - She was pushed into one whirlpool after another since Agastya died. That is why Surya did not interrupt when Imlie was pouring her heart out. At the same time, Surya knows Imlie and reads her well. So he checked her baggage and found her books and the family photo. He took them out and gave her a reason to step in and live in that room. He is going to build Imlie piece by piece. He has wronged her but I believe his walk to redemption will be equally beautiful.
