If the creatives are visiting this thread, please write at least one strong court scene for Armaan that can justify his being called Udaipur’s best lawyer. Even one scene will set the tone for that part of his character. No more tears and a subtle yet firm expression of dissent wherever necessary and that’s all it will take for Armaan v2 to be a hit. Maybe the actor can be styled a bit better to better showcase his natural good looks as well. That’s about it!

I feel, there are slight changes in Armaan after the hospital scene though not very evident.. Also he looks very much convinced with her pyar for his family, especially after that Charu's incident... Armaan sa bohot hi convinced sa lag raha hain altogether.. looks like he has become an Abhira fan after all these mess..

And in yesterday's episode also, he did call out Ruhi for her Abhira ko chhod do suggestion... But it was subtle...

his dialogs about her being thankless and matlabi were after that...😂

Was this episode or at least the scene of Armaan confronting Ruhi written after the call on the actor change? Because the man who till yesterday was saying Ruhi yeh Ruhi woh has suddenly grown a spine overnight to the point where he challenges people and not just Ruhi saying he will not brook any opposition to Abhira. Where did this come from all of a sudden ? Was it done as a send off gesture to the actor, so at least his Armaan could exit the show as a man of conviction? Or was it to lay the base for the entry of Rohit’s Armaan, where they knew that his personality would simply not suit that of a wimp which the previous version was? I am thinking not to use OG Armaan because the character remains and only the face is changing. So previous and current might be a better way to make a distinction going forward. Or maybe we could say Armaan v1 and Armaan v2, a new and upgraded version lol

I think Armaan's outburst was long overdue. Its not like he kissed the ground Ruhi walked on. He's been very stern with her n given her reality checks from time to time. He just reached his threshold today after the emotional rollercoaster the last few days from courtroom drama were. He was very touched yesterday after V said ki Abhira spoke to her about saga sautela. Abhira was about to run so Armaan wouldn't have to choose, wouldn't have to give up his family for her and this also affected him a lot!

Yesterday also, he was annoyed with Ruhi when she came to Abhimaan ka room n tried to blame Abhira for wanting to run n Armaan sa defended wifey, saying ki she was doing that for him only. He was annoyed AF when he told her ki wifey heard Ruhi telling him to leave her.

I think his outburst today was building over time n we did see glimpses of it beech beech mein.

His character arc has been moving in this direction where he takes a strong stand against fam n ruhi. He has always stood with Abhira n defended her in most instances. Just the intensity behind it was different, which can be explained by the emotional rollercoaster and also his evolving feelings for baby sa.

If RP wala Armaan is gng to be stern with the Ruhi, that's just the natural progression of the character arc. We all knew it was cmg, the day he'll rebuke ruhi. He's gradually been firmer with her if you think back to all the episodes.

We shouldn't attribute his progression to change in character.

It was very mild ..and he was trying to explain Ruhi to Abhira as well ..I just found the transition overnight ..maybe some kind of introspection on his part would have laid a stronger base

The problem is they don't give any monologues of Armaan, starting se yehi problem hai... They just want us to be confused, and break our head in understanding what he thinks! Then only they can flip him literally everyday..

I completely agree the outburst was long overdue ..it just came across as sudden because we did not get to see much introspection. Given that the changes are coming right when there is an actor change happening, it is making me wonder if this has influenced the writers to quicken the pace of his transitioning from a somewhat feeble character at times to someone who is making his stance clearly known..if the actor change had not happened, would we have seen the change happen at a slower pace ? That’s all I was wondering ..rest I am only too happy that he finally delivered a few home truths to Ruhi and the rest of the family. Edit - he has absolutely backed Abhira in front of the family most of the time. He let her down badly only twice, when Rohit disappeared and the Dadisa case issue. I am think with Rohit disappearing, he was probably subconsciously in guilt and when the cousin said something about Abhira and Rohit talking, he promptly latched on to that to subdue his own inner voice. With Dadi of course, it was a case of his not being able to digest that she could go against his revered grandmother. He simply expected her to mirror his own gratitude and unconditional acceptance of Dadi sa as someone who could never be in the wrong. Today though, he spoke of ego blinding them and while he did not take her name, he clearly implied Dadi sa was a victim of her own prejudice towards Abhira. More than his retort to Ruhi, it was his firing point blank at the rest of the family while seemingly using Ruhi as the target that struck me as a significant departure from his deferential stance.
