Tried watching it..passed out after 20 min..just woke up now..may try watching the rest tom now..cannot comment much right now..but SAK was hilarious so far..pure comedy..alag hi tangent pe acting chal rahi hai..she is like those 4th graders playing fancy dress and acting in school plays..such artificial and loud acting..every other actor except her was so good though..lets see what else is there when i catch the rest of the movie

So Ananya goes past Sara for the supremacy amongst nepo-non actors ?

Sara has produced an absolute dud on OTT while Ananya did a good job with Kho Gaye Hum Kahan

She butchered this with her surface-level portrayal. Also, our own stories deserve better treatment, lest our ancestors turn in their graves. I don't know why I expected anything when the only depth KJo & his nepo girlies know of is the shallow end of the pool.

I made ald watch anime not vice versa

However having someone who can deep talk made watching media fun.

My honest review:

Pros:

I liked the overall story they were trying to tell. I honestly did not know about Usha Mehta and her contribution to the freedom struggle so it was something informative to me.

The second half of the movie had a certain thrill with the police and the evasion sequences. And the "Bharat Roko" sequence was well done.

The supporting cast played their roles well and I was especially impressed with the actor portraying Fahad.

I didn't even recognize Emraan Hashmi as he portrayed Ram Manohar Lohia but I did think that the movie picked up pace and energy on his arrival. So he did his role well.

Cons:

Sara Ali Khan tried but somehow I was not able to connect to her. I understood what she was saying but could not really feel for her. The emotional resonance was missing.

You should feel a sense of patriotism, anger, sadness - she faced to inspire any of it.

The film ultimately turned out to be average and one-time watch.
