This can be confirmed in the clip shared in the other thread. Anuj was already coming to accept that Anupama wouldn't agree for adoption but she did. It was a FULLY CONSENTED, CONSCIOUS decisions to Adopt Choti Anu.

She should have declined it. Did she Not know that Adoption is a lifelong commitment? It involves not just yours but your husband's and the child's life and future? Truth be said Anuj has been a very, very patient spouse. He ALWAYS stood up for her at the cost of his own self-respect.

If u see  when anuj  went to Mumbai Anupama    not a single  day she went to shah  house  ..
