I haven't Watched Bashar Momin but I heard it was a breakthrough show for ushna Shah and it was very huge in my childhood I was still shocked that Bashar momin is produced by ahad's dad but I'm glad that ahad doesn't play toxic roles in his dramas

Faysal plays an abusive husband to ushna, he treats her badly but somehow she ends up pregnant, he unknowingly gives her abortion pills that causes her miscarriages, yet despite all this they end up together in the end . At least in khaani mir hadi and khaani don’t end up together.

I’ve seen IPKKND and TB both. Didn’t see any similarity. Meerab and Khushi are totally different so are Arnav and Murtasim. Neither is Barun’s acting caliber even close to Wahaj’s 😂- I felt Sanaya carried that entire show on her shoulders. Yumna and Wahaj are better matched acting wise.

The similarity I think is the soap opera -ish OTT vibe which was TB. Which was Siraj’s choice. But story/characters were nothing alike. Even the scenes compared are different with different context so I’ve never understood the comparison. Being a fan of both shows, it’s a bit bizarre for me.

As for preference, Shibra has never won me over and there’s so little investment that it doesn’t matter really. I was just enjoying the chemistry but Shibra as a character and Durre as a performer don’t do much for me. Not the same for Meerab/Yumna. I love both, with the flaws that come with Meerab 😂. Agree on the weird episode they dished out which sent the fandom into a spiral, but ultimately they listened to the audience which I respect. And both characters suffered for their actions. Regarding changes in IM, Farooq Rind didn’t listen to his audience. This story had one job and that was the revelation scene. And it failed for me.

Not the acting or the characters but the vibe may be. Murtasim started behaving differently after a few episodes, the trailers & the initial episodes showed that usual hot headed ML & the annoying & preachy but headstrong FL. That's done & dusted on ITV which I never found entertaining. Still, I decided to watch for Wahaj & enjoyed for like 30 episodes. As I started late, I was on episode 30 when the uproar on social media happened & that's when I put it on hold.

Such chemistry is not my thing. Neither enjoyed it in my teens nor do I enjoy it now. Also, I don't watch shows for romance, it's all characters & acting for me.

And it didn't matter to me what happened after that episode. The line of respect was crossed & I can never overlook it.

Durre might not be a good performer but she looks the part Shibra is supposed to do. She looks fresh & radiant, the song sooraj ki kirnon sa ek chehra is made for her.
