Because as per the script, he goes to find Abhira but returns empty handed.

Ruhi was with family only. She didn't follow..

Phupasa tries to stop him but he still goes out to look for her. He even gets Madhav involved. Unfortunately Armaan returns empty handed. From the leaked script Kiara says "Armaan bhaiyya toh Abhira bhabhi ke fan boy ban gaye hain. Khud toh dhundne gaye hi hain tayasa ko bhi isi kaam par laga diya hai"

And then focus on Ruhi "Itna sab hone ke baad bhi Armaan ko Abhira ki padi hai"
