I think this manav track served one purpose and can build up for revelation too.

This track made Ruhi available for Armaan. It broke one of the dewar between them and for Ruhi is lusty, the other Abhira dewar doesn't exist.

So this makes her bolder.

But even after the open road, Armaan would choose Abhira again and again.

That would make Ruhi blurt out the noodles kahani to Abhira. Bam! revelation.

But I feel revelation will happen after Rohit returns and Armaan is on the verge of confessing. Abhira too would have developed feelings for Armaan.

That would give them the most drama!
