Yes the execution and the episode length were the main culprits today I feel.

Waise this time around more than IPL I feel the election fever will kick in and the entertainment channels will suffer massively with the double whammy of IPL and election coverage happening.

So I don't think any channel will dare launch any new show until both the big ticket things - elections and IPL end.

Everything felt very rushed. I feel like music would’ve helped make the episode longer and the scenes more palatable.

They could’ve done a parallel to Agastya and Nyonika’s wedding with Chacha singing “Dulhe Ka Sehra”. It would’ve displayed Surya and Binni hesitation to complete the rituals in a more dramatic manner.

They could’ve cut to shots of Imlie getting to Monty’s and trying to fight off Raghu. An emphasis could’ve been done on the part of the song that goes “Dhadkan meri dhadkan” as Imlie struggle to get the upper hand on Raghu and gets injured.

Surya could maybe start getting one of his headaches during the pheres, it could’ve been a hint to his dil ka dil se connection to Imlie. Maybe even a small clue to let us know that this is August Babu with memory loss sensing his Imlie is in trouble.

Dadi could’ve still pushed for the ceremony to go on even if Surya is not doing well, a good display of how out of her mind she has been lately. And then same sequence of Binni stopping the marriage could’ve happenned before the sindoor. But instead with a cliffhanger of whether Imlie will survive the attack or not.

This is beautiful Kashish! This is exactly what the other shows do. Alas, team Imlie thought it’s ok to rush through the entire sequence after getting the cast to deck up. Atleast Surya and Binni had the camera focus for some time. Baaki Sab were full on ignored.

It’s one of my favourite so I did a quick little edit with one of the Agastya and Imlie scene I loved the most. Who knows if we’ll ever get proper romance in this show again. It’s a bit messy but hope y’all like it!

I still did not understand what was the need for decking the cast up if the marriage was not to be done? Pagal hain kya ? Or the team got the trps beforehand - kuch samajh nahin aa raha - what’s happening

Since Binni’s truth will be out and Surya is staying in the guest room, will Imlie finally get her room aka Agastya’s room back? They had some fairy lights on in the background during Sai and Adrija’s interview in the SBS segment, it looked so cozy.

Couldn’t go without mentioning my one true love which is Agastya and Imlie’s bedroom set 😂
