Real Nand Nandini and Agramahishi Ragyi Durdhara,

Chandra Nandini showed wrong in which Durdhara and Nandini were shown as friends. Nand Nandini was Mahadevi but Ragyi and Agramahishi was Durdhara. Daughter of Suluva was secondary queen till Durdhara died. After that she became Agramahishi (allegedly) due to her probably her devotion and intelligence.

A good historical is which , which not only keeps the accuracy intact but to make it entertaining only does necessary dramatic changes. Eg-

Chandragupta's character is written as Conscientious, hard working, handsome (moon faced) , proud , devoted, fearless and depended on his Guru. Even in Imagine's show , Chandragupta was shown as impulsive and emotional which he was not. But guess the vision of the writer was to show his childhood, teenage and then adult life. When the show ended he was still a 17 year old guy so a teenager. So him being emotional was still somehow acceptable. Still no show has shown this. They make him overly emotional and too much mahan. Warriors are not mahan, they are never mahan. So they should.be shown as the history says about them and not make them overly white which seems unrealistic.

Similarly, Bindusara is always portrayed as weak king and kaan ka kaccha. I guess Kaan ka Kaccha is shown because in manipulations of Subandhu, he rebuked Chanakya, the very man whom his father greatly respected. 😒 But he wasn't overly stupid. Till Chanakya was alive he brought 16 states under him but as soon as he died rebellions started, basically in Taxila where ground Satraps and Amatyas were being oppressive. When Ashok reached there the population hailed Bindusara and said they loved their samrat but were oppressed by the ground rule there. Thats why Ashok could easily suppress the rebellion, because the population didn't dislike their Samrat.

Ashok's character is a lot more complexed and if written right he can come as a fantastic anti hero, but to justify his actions Sushima is made a villain when he wasn't, well he isn't written as such, like in SRK's movie he was shown as killing Ashok's mother when it didn't happen in reality, in Chakravartin Ashok Samrat too, Sushim and his mother were vilified to justify Ashok's actions. No one dares to show true story of Ashoka. 😐 His story is more interesting without white Washing.

Akbar was whitewashed in JA movie and downright ridiculed and made a pathetic loser who only praises his so called Maryam Uz Zamani all the time in the serial.

Never once a good historical ITV produced except DD Chanakya and to some extent Imagine's show. DD Chanakya was 70 percent accurate and Imagine's show took facts but heavily twisted it but in the end the show was very inspiring and gave a good message so their inaccuracies are pardoned because in the end they gave a good and positive show with entertainment included.

This show's Durdhara was absolutely irritating and she was CGM's 4 queens mixed together.

She met CGM in his teen years like daughter of Suluva 😡

She was made daughter of Dhan Nanda like Nandini and she also fell in love at first sight like her

She was stubbornly childish and difficult to control like Helena who also very possessive of him and also she was being called a great beauty like Helena was. 😐

and her name was Durdhara like Agramahishi of CGM

When I said Sagars always try to make their kings monogamous, it's the proof of that. CGM's four queens mixed together and a new character was born.

Bindusara was doing Puja and snake came there. Bodyguards were useless and inspite of having hathiyar they suggested to call for help till the snake man came to hypnotize

The snake was waiting to be hypnotised

Useless bodyguards didn't try to do anything until Bindu had to give orders to do so. Out of nowhere, the hypnotiser came to the scene. Not suspicious at all
