I am not denying that his feelings for Abhira. I am not even saying he wants Ruhi as well. All I am saying is that man could have shut himself then. He shouldn't have said ki aise hi bola tha. He clearly knows Ruhi loves him and doesn't want to marry Manav and wants beech ka rasta. So him saying things like that builds up her hope ki ek saal baat jeth-bhabhi shaadi kar lenge.
