I still believe there will be no achcha aadmi nonsense in this generation. Reason being, Armaan is perfect ML for Abhira. She isn't a bechari like her mother. She is a fighter who is emotionally strong. She doesn't need a strong partner to stand up for her always. She needs a partner who makes her feel home and gives her family which she never had. Armaan is all that. He is a very nice guy who is Abhira's whole world at the moment. She feels safe and most importantly super happy when she is with him. The amount of work these writers have done on Armaan, its unbelievable. He has a good backstory of abandoned childhood (but he isn't bitter about it). He is vulnerable, spineless, emotionally unstable. But he is very very strong when it comes to supporting his family. Unlike Rohit, who ran away at first knock of despair, Armaan keeps taking all trash from everyone around him and absorbs it. He hardly ever snaps. He is epitome of achcha aadmi. He takes care of all the people in the house despite being treated like an outsider. He constantly gets ddp scenes. All this is coz makers want us to connect with him.

His and Abhiras journey is a really slow burn. I don't think makers will make them fall in love after one year only to separate them to make way for an AA. That's not happening. They want us to crave for Abhira Armaan and for them to fall in love. Today's episode was so beautiful coz Armaan realised that he doesn't know anything about Abhira. Being a life partner isn't just about fun and games. It's much more than that. It's about having a deep soulmate connection. There is a stark contrast between Ar-Ab's slow burn relationship with RuhMaans insta love. Ruhi thinks they love each other, but for Armaan it's always his true soulmate Abhira who is his no. 1 priority. And she will remain that coz thry both don't connect on just physical level with each other. They share a deep emotional bond. Their love is HEALING types. And not burning types.

Armaan has been written with a lot of care, with so many layers and complexities. If they had even remotely planned to do away with him, they wouldn't have put so much effort into crafting such a realistic, soft, nontoxic and human ML. At times it actually feels like his character has been given more scope and depth than even Abhira's, the FL. There are aspects of the show that revolve completely around him to a very great extent.

His character sketch, how progression arc of his character and his and Abhiras relationship is very very slow, but if one sees from day 1, the progress cannot be disputed. Its a very very very slow burn, a healing burn, as you said. They literally complete each other, adding to the missing aspects of each other's life. They are each other's solace. The slow burn is serving us with a relationship with strengthening emotional intimacy and progressive physical intimacy based on a very solid foundation of friendship, trust, loyalty, respect. That's not to say that both do not err from time to time. But a relationship built block by block from the ground up on a solid foundation is one that will weather the test of time and stand tall.

Armaan isn't going anywhere. ABHIMAAN are endgame.

It is very clear that this time team doesn't want to repeat the same blunder like last time. They went too fast with the story then that led to the introduction of achcha aadmi. Here the things are very slow. They are cautious. No matter how much people say but the way writers are drawing parallels between Ruhaan and abhimaan is a treat to watch. Bit by bit ruhaan are breaking which is giving way to abhimaan. Their love story gonna be really crazy after all this slow burn. Armaan will be completely free of his dark phase ruhi and will be with his sunshine, his happy part abhira.

I really really loved the episode. It was one of the best episodes in ITV I have watched in terms of symbolism and execution, direction and as well as performances especially Samridhii and Shehzada are so good. Casting is definitely gold.

Episode:

It starts with Abhira panicking for Armaan. Well, every time they are angry with each other, something happens where they see how one gets hurt and other gets badly affected. Last time it was Yuvraj thing when Armaan got panicked and this time it was Abhira. She was going mad and when she sees him, she instantly hugs him like he is everything for her , nothing else matters. He was a bit shocked initially, but hugs her back. He was angry but he gets softened with her hug, her care. Their usual banter starts which is always a treat to watch. This whole scene ends at a point where abhira says that tumko mujhe janne k liye poori umar lag jaegi. And they become awkward, that deep pain of separation has started to become visible on their faces which they aren't realising.

Auto scene - Well for the first time probably Abhira felt something very deep with his touch. Her face was as if she i getting affected by the physical proximity now which is a progression. It was no more a friendly feeling. She guards herself with the sarcastic taunts to him. Armaan not wanting to meet Manav is very clear it's mainly because he doesn't want Ruhi to go through the same which she went with Rohit. Of course he said and knows that Ruhi wants him but he also knows marrying someone this soon when she hasn't moved on will only ruin her life. Let her take her time and then decide. A lot of people are bashing armaan for this but any good human including Abhira who would know that Ruhi doesn't want anyone else right now won't be a good decision even for that guy manav. Armaan saying Ruhi wants him doesn't mean he wants the same and his intentions are wrong, he just spoke facts.

Abhira telling him that you are actually messing up things more was spot on. Armaan has taken so much burden on himself of everyone that in order to make everyone happy, he is losing his own identity and stands. He needs to keep his priorities set and then only he can fix the mess, he needs to take strong decisions for himself. I hope, he goes through Abhira's words once and realises where he stands.

Armaan and Ruhi's scene. Ruhi's pestering him maybe annoying but armaan needs closure. He needs to revisit his feelings regarding Ruhi which he hasn't yet. In a way, Ruhi is helping him to revisit them indirectly through constant pestering. Hope, he realises this too. Anyways, he hears abhira is in hospital, he goes crazy leaving Ruhi there like always running after Abhira as if his only life is abhira. I loved the parallels between armaan and abhira where they both were about to get injured at the same time. While Abhira shouts Armaan's name while getting hurt and we sees armaan getting saved by Ruhi at the same time. And later on armaan runs after Abhira leaving Ruhi to save her.

Armaan went completely crazy in the hospital. He kept begging doctors to see abhira once. While filling the form, that scene was really heart breaking. For the first time Armaan realised something about abhira, that he actually knows nothing about her. Yes he notices her daily antics, her fun and goofy side, her kind and loving nature, but there is much more beyond that which he needs to know. A good progression. Also, he was getting more emotional while writing his name as Abhira's husband recalling his deal marriage with her. I can't even tell how they both are gonna suffer because of this deal marriage because now their bond is much more beyond that deal which we all can see.

As much as it pains me, to say, there scenes don't bother me cause is

necessary for Armaan. Some call it harassment, EMA, jo bhi ho, Armaan needs to be pushed to reconcile with his feelings. That can't happen by just avoiding it. Closure is needed but question is does Arman have the courage cause that's what is needed in this situation. Will the closure be Armaan being firm once and for where there's no room for misinterpretation that is over or will it be him accepting

he wants to be with Ruhi too.

But maun vrat or you're my brother wife, isn't enough for Ruhi. Armaan know that woman never consider herself Rohit wife. So now the ball in Armaan court, and he can start that closure by telling Abhir the truth.
