Anupama is shocked as a very expensive necklace is retrieved from her bag by police while searching . Police arrest her on charges of theft.
Anupama is stunned and rendered speechless . Anuj and yashdeep are horrified. They try to resist her arrest but their pleas fall on deaf ears of police team n they handcuff her , force her into waiting police car n take her away . Anuj is horrified and Yashdeep is very concerned . Toshu acts guilty but says nothing . Vanraj watches everything n feels sorry for Anupama .
Baa and Beeji keep shouting Anupamaa can never do such things she is innocent , she should not be arrested but none pay heed to their voices .
Anupama panics as she is driven to police station. There she is placed in a cell . She feels claustrophobic inside , pleads the police she did nothing , she is innocent , they should release her . She weeps but none listen .
At the event venue Kinjal confirms from her boss that he had collected Pari from school n dropped her home , Kinjal thanks him, Toshu is shocked to learn, Pari was picked up from school as per Kinjal’s arrangement n not kidnapped by the goons . At Kinjal's house , Baa is very upset n so is Kinjal . Toshu is distraught , as his new job n his efficiency n all his efforts went down the drain . He reveals nothing about himself stealing n hiding the jewellery in mummy’s purse .Vanraj tries to think of reasons that might have forced Anupama into stealing , Kinjal refutes his claims n sternly believes Mummy is too honest , she would starve but never steal , she did exactly this when she arrived here in the US and lost her money n passports . She starved but drank water only with her own hard earned money .
Anuj and Yashdeep assure all assistance to investigators n police . Anuj request the jewellery owner to take back his FIR as he had already recovered his jewellery .
