I don't think YKS was a big TRP getter anyways. It had decent TRPs (around 7-8 if I remember). A similar show could still get that amount of TRPs. The issue is that channels now want shows that can get 10+ TRPs if they have A-list cast and budget. If they can be happy with medium TRPs we may get more shows like YKS.

P.S. I don't think it is her colleagues being upset at Yumna. Everyone has only spoken nicely and warmly about her. That's why it was surprising.

Yaar that's not good strategy. In that way your competitors can always manipulate what you do. If you get a super hit pair with someone, they can make multiple accounts and spread hate about you with that specific person on multiple SM platforms. If you let yourself get manipulated like that then you will end up losing lots of opportunities.

For example, Durre is doing really well these days and you can see multiple hate posts for her on multiple platforms. What do these people spreading hate for her want. They don't want her to be successful. If she obliges then they will stop hating her but that's not very wise is it?.

Also if anyone just wants thrills, toxicity ka baap and huge trp hits as well - watch Jalan and Deewangi..Minal and Danish in the respective shows, going bat shit crazy is my favourite guilty pleasure Minal as Nisha and Jalan as a show, even got a special mention by Aamna in women's day special about what kind of characters should not be shown on TV

Ya ofcourse that part was also great but their lovestory has repeat watch value and that made them and their pair more popular that's what I was trying to say..

Gems like YKS are bigger than romance..these are just beautiful beautiful shows with great messaging...something you will recommend others to watch many years down the line..while at it..if anyone is interested in good content - please watch Daam, Maat, Malaal, Jackson Heights, Raqeeb Se, Baraat series..I dont know about trps etc..but what amazing shows!
