There has to be more reaction from Kunal about the pregnancy than this. I think we will see more. I’m hoping we will see him dreaming or thinking his actions through and then running to gets wife back in his life.

Kunal always desired a child with Sonia and was robbed of knowing Tara even existed. As a father, he missed those initial moments of pregnancy and birth. If he continues to think about his father and his past history with Vijay, he will miss out on his future with his wife and baby. He will miss the blessing of being present for those precious moments all over again but this time it will be his fault. I think this maybe the turning point for Kunal. I think he will leave the house to go get Vandu back in his life.

If this does not happen that means someone persuades him against her once again. And it will take her giving her kidney to Tara and putting herself and her unborn child in danger for him to see that she’s truly selfless. It will take her almost dying for him to realize her devotion and commitment to him and her family.

I think he has been stunted emotionally by his father. And he doesn't know how to break out of it even for Vandana. Mohit is bringing it out really well - the conflict. Even in the BTS, he keeps looking at his dad maybe expecting him to tell him to bring her back.

Vandana on the other hand, wants him to break out his father's hold on his own. Again, in the BTS, she doesn't react to Pammi or Mrunal at all. We will know better in the episode. But it looks like she is telling him silently to reach out to her, he doesn't... so she walks out. He takes a step forward to hug her but he stops himself.

If he trusts Vandana, he has to mistrust his father.

Hopefully, he will break out the shackles with Vandana's surgery and 'death'.

This whole issue would have been uglier and long drawn out if the show had continued. Now we know it will reach its climax, this way or that way.

Unfortunately it may take her almost dying for Kunal to realize her devotion, her love, and her commitment to him and her family.

But hopefully he will realize the love that she has for him now that she’s pregnant and just go after her and what he wants for his life which is the family he never had. But that’s going to take bravery and courage from Kunal because he will go against his father’s wishes. Hopefully, he thinks about it and goes after her.

As @sas79 said, Vandu’s near death experience maybe for redemption of other characters where we see their guilt, repentance, and the truth comes out.

I saw all the pregnancy reveal BTS. I know it is not what we were hoping for, the romantic reveal, DAMN I felt the angst from Kunal. Mohit is an amazing actor - the way it slowly hit him and he was looking at Vandu and smiling at her. It was done brilliantly - though she told it in front of everyone, I felt it was their little bubble.

Also, in the BTS, when Pammi says some crap, Kunal tells her off. And another thing, is that when Murnal is trying to cause some drama about how is this possible, is Vandu lying? Kunal says no matter what, I know she won't lie to me about this.

For the first time, I feel bad for the male ITV character - poor Kunal is so conflicted and it is eating at him. You can sense the longing to be with Vandu, but he also knows that even the pregnancy cannot solve all these issues. Even in that dinner singing scene, poor Kunal cannot bring himself to ever tell Vandu that he doesn't want her in his life, but he also cannot bring himself to take her back to his house.

@aishwarrior says I do think there will be more reaction from Kunal's side later on. He has been longing to have a child, which is something that Sonia knew and deliberately denied it to him for revenge until she was bored of Tara. Vandu knows that that's why she did not delay in telling him. Poor Kunal has been so brainwashed by his father. Even Sonia said he was obsessed with his Dad, so breaking the shackles would be hard.

There is a BTS out where Pammi reforms and tells Kunal to accept Vandu. I think Pammi and Guneet are going from the Malhorta house. As I said, I think Vandu's near death will make Hemant, Anagah, and Murnal realize her worth and I think even they will reform.

LOOL Murnal ran away with all the jewels. I think Vaibhav will betray Murnal and take all the jewels for himself and Vandu will try and rescue Murnal as per usual and Vaibhav will try and hurt our pregnent Vandu.
