Shoutout to Devi

Devi is such an amazing character in the show. Very feisty, fierce, beautiful and no nonsense woman. Her dressing is also Historically accurate and she makes Ashok likeable. Devshok also have chemistry. Actress is doing wonderful job portraying Devi 👏

Minus the time she wore that white dress with all those beaded fringe. That wasn't historically accurate, minus that, all the others were, and even the hairstyle she sports matches the Ashoka carvings at that time.

Seriously, why aren't more leading heroines of TV like her, strong and fiesty in character? Coz I went from a Tulsi Virani (childhood) to a Devi (adulthood) and made to feel sorry for that when I'm not. Even Kaurwaki is too soft in comparison even with the "Chand-Pracchand" scene!! 🤣🤣

Ekta Kapoor and writers may, but history wouldn't forget nor be rewritten. Fact remains, Devi was Ashoka's 1st wife and along with Devi, Ashoka had several other wives.
