In addition to the above, I'd say Danish's projects are usually hero centric and thus revolve around him, leaving very little scope for the female lead. Those roles are best suited for new/upcoming actresses who are hoping to go mainstream. ARY and GEO did fine by casting Hiba (Deewangi), Minal (Ishq Hai) and Dure (KTK) in such roles. It's HUM Tv that can't seem to get it right since they have been making conventionally mismatched pairs, first with Komal and now with Laiba.

But also, like you speculated, Danish definitely charges big time. I once came across Jerjees (ARY head) joke that Danish charges a bomb and that it's okay since they also get maximum returns from his projects. So i suppose this could be one of the ways the channel and PH try to balance out Danish's fees by getting a relatively newer face as the female lead.

He did work with saba, sajal, Fatima during early 2010s i heard that sannata was the biggest show on 2013 BTW komal meer is very popular nowadays

Please don't compare REJ to ishq hai. Ishq hai was actually a decent project despite it being problematic as the leads had chemistry. Agree, I think Danish and Minal's passionate portrayal of the rollercoaster ride of emotions their characters went through added that sizzle and made ishq Hai with all its absurdities hook worthy .. Although it had even Hasan and Aamna on a chokehold, they will never admit that. ARY used to air double episodes on two consecutive days and all four episodes would be trending on youtube. Lol

I guess Moomal Ent neither have the budget nor the "expertise" like Big Bang does when it comes to sensational stories and creating high voltage dramas and as a result it doesn't pan out the way it should .. I said ReJ is simply IshQ Hai 2.0 at the moment cuz all the tropes are literally copy paste of ishq Hai. With what's to come next, it seems even more glaringly obvious. Everytime i watch ReJ i feel like I'm constantly getting a deja vu of Ishq hai.

Rehana Aftaab crossed all the limits of coincidences in yesterday's episode of ReJ, easily surpassing what she even did in Ishq Hai.

I agree. Though I think the Komal and Danish pair would have worked if the story was any great. I don't think Komal is that bad. Btwn I don't know why I feel danish won't be that toxic in new upcoming show. I hope its good. Lately hum has been producing male centric dramas thats why their views have increased a lot. It seems YouTube audience like more male centric drama.

Now in ReJ Danish has been basically the female lead of Itv who will get accusations and have to prove his innocence till last episode. But anyway since now both are married I might watch the show. I was pissed when the female lead got married to somebody else. Pakistani dramas make more joke of marriage. Atleast in indian serials they rarely make leads marry somebody else.

Yes I recently searched about it that sannata was a flop never knew it Flopped although it faced competition with My all time favourite childhood Drama Aunn Zara but NGL Sannata became cult Classic alongside Aunn Zara

Why do Danish’s projects with Ayeza suck ? Meherposh was a snoozefest and even Chand Tara wasn’t good.

Someone should cast them in what would be like a Mubashira x Sultan show. Watching them going bat shit crazy on screen would really be something.
