She meant Muneeb in Shiddat. In a podcast, Muneeb said the director asked him to watch Christian Grey & 50 shades to prepare for this role.

Please don't compare REJ to ishq hai. Ishq hai was actually a decent project despite it being problematic as the leads had chemistry. REJ has the basic same plot and even subplots with clever minor deviations but still REJ is so bad that it is just pure roastable content and both the leads are just insufferable in their never-ending victim modes.

Lol I had the same thought while watching the epi because they are usually like poles apart from each other. This was actually a well shot scene.
