It is worded in a different way. They are not talking of a time leap. They are saying show takes a leap forward in direction of storyline. The storyline shifts to Sahan.

hope so ...ye toh prachi ne bhi bola tha as upcoming storyline will unfold ,it goes more towrds sahan rather than others
