Ranbir isn't so clear about himself (imo).

Another difference is that Vicky has two places where he feels at peace (his family's place and his couple place)...he is much more grounded in himself than Ranbir is.

Once again Ranbir in his life has not come close to delivering a performance like this! I don't care if it was on OTT. Or flop hit verdict. Ranbir is nowhere near Vicky as an actor. I don't care who the bigger star is.

Ranveer, Vicky, Raj Kummar and Ayushmann are all better actors than Ranbir. Ranbir just has a hectic PR same as his wife.

I tried but fell asleep. Ranbir’s performance putting out his 32 all the time came across as fake and wannabe-ish. He couldn’t hold my attention for long before I slipped into deep sleep that too in the empty theatre.

He didn't direct any feature films anymore but many ads... he worked in filmbusiness at least until 2020.

He did three movies with YRF, two as director and one as a consultant in Sharma's Shuddh Desi Romance.

His debut movie had been produced by RGV, btw.

I eagerly agree that Vicky is a far better actor than Ranbir (and I also find Rajkummar Rao being a better actor), but I maintain that Ranbir can be a good actor.

I think most people here haven't seen what real popularity and superstardom is in the 80s-2000s. Probably most of them belong to gen z. rk is popular no doubt, but he is definitely not a superstar
