The one aspect I would say it seems behind TB is the fan wars between the ML & FL fandoms. As Durre is still new who hasn't an established fanbase yet so the chances are very rare. The fan wars increase the clout of a show.

The fan war between individual yumna and wahaj fans happened only after few months of TB airing and wahaj didn't had that big fandom before TB. He was mostly like harris Waheed before TB. Everyone liked him and rooted for him and called him underrated but didn't had any strong fanbase. TB within 1-2 months had more engagement than IM has in 5 months. For someone who followed tb during its initial stage and now IM I can totally see the difference. MH also had the same hype within 2-3 episodes after farhan entered. Hania and farhan's chemistry also clicked instantly within the audience and it's hype and viewership increased drastically after farhan's entry which was in ep 7 or 8.

IM is like ktk. Has views and ratings and the ML's character is popular among the masses but don't really generate any craze among the fans for the drama as a whole or the lead pairing.

But supporting actors or daily soap actors don't really have that luxury. Usama and anmol have repeated the same outfits in both aik sitam aur and siyaani as both were shot simultaneously. You can literally see them wearing same outfits together in both siyani and asa as if they both went from one set to another in the same attire

That's what I am talking about. Costume department should be there for every drama. Every production house in every industry has costume department, PTV see works like a 3rd world school function where performers have to bring their own costumes

I feel like it's only lacking in social media hype compared to TB. FT had plenty of that and still the views on its episode were mediocre. Therefore, it doesn't mean anything as far as actual popularity is concerned.

Ktk also had great views and ratings but didn't had crazy fans like tb or mh. IM is also the same. Fazal baksh/shahmeer sikandar will be popular like shamsher or sultan durani but the overall drama will be forgotten.

Yes, she has very beautiful eyes. I find sajal, maya, anmol and ayeza to have really beautiful eyes.

I find anmol to be way more beautiful than dure.

MR didn't happen until E47. TB was being discussed very early on. And it wasn't the slap or jump either - the slap is so common in pak dramas that in pak audiences it wouldn't even raise an eyebrow. Merub and Murtasim had really Pak audiences under a spell. In retrospect, it seems almost surreal how hooked and invested people were. I suggest you watch Amma's reviews of TB. She often talks of reactions of people around her. That should give you some sense also.

If instead of changing personality, if Shahmeer would have forcefully married Durre and if there was some woman in his house to bother Shibra then you would have seen discussions like Tere Bin. Tere Bin was polarizing Ishq Murshid is not.

If a production house or channel in pak dramas have a costume department I guess we will see the same clothes wore by different characters in different dramas from the same pH or channel. Pak dramas don't really have the budget to have a separate costume department. Even with all the money itv don't have that good of a costume department even though they have one. They mostly copy paste popular bwood movie and stars look for their characters.

Only Turkish and kdramas seems to have good budget for costumes (not counting American series for obvious reasons). They wear clothes from international and national luxury brands.

I guess in pak dramas, the makers and the actors along with their stylists come up with a look, the ph gives a certain budget to the actors and they have to manage in their own. Ayeza has said she used a lot of her personal clothes in mein but there are clothes she wore from pak designers as well. I guess the rent fee of those clothes might be covered by the ph and not ayeza herself.
