Well I consider all this as toxic masculinity. And I am not a advocate of this.If love can be equated to all these actions done by yuvraj, then I am sorry it is not less than a disaster.See, we are looking from two different perspectives. From Abhira’s side yes, she has gone through a lot. mentally been tortured, lost her mother, got married to a stranger and now getting hate from the other family members. From Yuvi’s side, he loved only one person and he want to marry her by hook or by crook.. Suppose if he is the Ml and did all this stalking and flirting, and Fl trying to escape and run away everyone will start bashing Fl why is she not accepting his love. So for once if we ignore the obsession part of him and understand him from another angle then it’s easy to agree that he genuinely loves her. I’m from south and in many south movies heroins fall for heros who are rowdy, gunda, stalkers and gangsters. Compared to all those movies Yuvi is far better
. Again I say, I don’t support his actions but he genuinely loves her. It’s my opinion though.
And I am from south too. I dont know about the movies you are talking about bcz I dont prefer watching them. All I can say is that there are some recent malayalam movies which strongly criticises old age toxic traits practiced in the society.Whether to accept it or not depends on the audience.Yes trends are def changing.
And bashing a female lead for running away from her stalker
That's definitely a new information for me..
. Again I say, I don’t support his actions but he genuinely loves her. It’s my opinion though.
