I saw brs and I am happy. Jhanak, please roast the stupid guy. What sort of protecting is he doing that he doesn’t even try to limit the abuse as much as possible but contributes to it? Instead of that, its like he is trying to isolate her, put her down and control her. He won’t let her go but neither would he let her live? Its like he doesnt even know she has a bigger dream anymore and just wants her to act and live as a maid in his sight so he can see her and control her while having his ‘respect’ by marrying Arshi. Ani is male lead or villain?

No matter what, I feel residuals of those arguments, insult, cold and aloofness from Jhanak would definitely have been there in his heart. Words are never easy to forget; if Jhanak remembers her insults towards her mother why would Ani not remember the insult towards himself? Now there is a valid reason that he tried to do the right thing, but she sided with Tejas. This led to his accident somehow. At least that is what ani will feel without knowing the complete truth. So, I think, all his resentments are coming out now and transforming into genuine anger from him that I see in certain moments: Like when she doesn't want to discuss about Tejas or that she doesn't expect anything from him. He looks hurt and together with the resentments, he just bursts out with anger the next minute.

Also, I have always noticed that his emotions are much deeper whether be anger, hurt or happiness, when it comes to Jhanak. Not Arshi, his cousins, his siblings, not even his parents. All that is reserved for Jhanak. I feel it is a double-edged sword. He can be the greatest supporter at one time, but he can also be her greatest obstacle too if it comes to situation.

This is my honest opinion at least.

How much ever justification given, his act has gone way beyond

As I said before, she will remember all these things happening to her. Ani can never completely apologize to her in any situation in the future for this. This idiot is also digging a grave for himself by behaving this way, it forms an impression on her: she now considers him two-faced. She will be very resistant to even trust him now. Let alone love and care for him. She will not show even if she does, because she has seen how he behaves when he stands by his family and that will definitely happen in the future often as most of the Basus are against her. Realistically speaking, in India, marriage is not only between two people but between two families. So, If I were her, I would not pursue this relationship even if I love Ani unless he is willing to standup for me. smiley44

I completely agree with you.

I agree but then let her go.. or is he keeping her so that he can have opportunity to insult her like this..

Even if his anger is genuine so reserved for Jhanak.. if he had at bit of personal feelings for her, he would have not insulted her this way.. and join the classist gang in insulting her.. it is as if he is using Jhanak as a punching bag to please Arshi…

What is the sense of keeping her and then insulting her.. he does not have rights to show anger to Jhanak if he is flaunting Arshi with him…

Jhanak should leave this house ASAP.. she should not let him insult her as he has no rights to do that..

I wish for the same too. I want her to escape that house, that city, even that state and go MIA man.

Bolded sentence - Completely true. Which is why it'll be a tough but somewhat toxic love between these two.

True… unless he completely commits to her and promises to stand by her be it what.. or better leave this toxic family until they promise to not insult her .. for now she should leave him… I am so waiting for that to happen.

Life with Rohan will be better as that is where she will get immense respect..

Agreed. This is not a way to keep her safe. This is cruel.

Love can never be toxic. Love will be selfless.
