It's very clear that Ani is putting up and act of hating Jhanak so that his family doesn't mess with her any more. He being concerned abt Jhanaks safety and well being is abundantly clear. But I also feel this protect Jhanak is still bcoz of his humanitarian side rather than because hes head over heels in love with her. He is at peace if she's safe and hence he wanted her there. But what he is not understanding or realising is that his feelings abt Jhanak being his zimmedari will never ever go and it will again come to the fore and a prickypoint in his and Arshis relationship.

but that doesn’t give him the right to keep her at his home and insult her every now and then. What kind of protection is this.. he is insulting her at each step along with his family … what is he trying to protect her from by doing this.. if he is so weak and if this is his way of protecting then Jhanak doesn’t need this type of protection..

What he is trying to protect her from- Tejas and physical abuse.. what he is doing along with his family is no less.. mentally abusing her at each step.. it’s like gang abuse.. this should also be termed as crime..

Jhanak is kind of kidnapped and tortured. I want her to run away from here and save her life.. this way they are forcing her to suicide

These Basus are delusional up to the oldies. No wonder Shubo, Tanuja and others behave this way. Sorry, I am just laughing so much thinking how nonsensical their entire conversation is blaming Jhanak. It all could've been avoided with Ani saying " Sorry, I messed up; my bad." But instead, he joins the delusional camp. He just reminds me of Arnav, he is going to regret this so bad once things clear up. Infact, he is even worse than Arnav as he was not even flinching at the sight of Jhanak sobbing yesterday.

Jhanak is always in that house without any purpose, she doesn't go out, doesn't have any plans for herself or her future. She had no personal or professional growth since the show started.There is no parallel story for her nor any of the other characters!

Actually, they are insulting themselves in front of their friends. Stupid family including Ani. Now I don’t even know if he is putting up an act, he is going way beyond and above in his insults.

He is just venting along the way because it is easy, and he has a valid reason to do so. I think her repeatedly refraining from being normal to him and arguing with him at every turn also did not have a proper reaction from him till now. I think, while he may be acting like he doesn't care about her anymore, there are certain instances I feel genuinely he is very angry for all the things he couldn't react to from the start and is using the timing rn. This makes me feel iffy about him.

See, he has always been understanding of Jhanak's situation to a certain extent and so never really showed emotional outburst on her to his fullest extent maybe except the time before she consumed pills. No matter what, I feel residuals of those arguments, insult, cold and aloofness from Jhanak would definitely have been there in his heart. Words are never easy to forget; if Jhanak remembers her insults towards her mother why would Ani not remember the insult towards himself? Now there is a valid reason that he tried to do the right thing, but she sided with Tejas. This led to his accident somehow. At least that is what ani will feel without knowing the complete truth. So, I think, all his resentments are coming out now and transforming into genuine anger from him that I see in certain moments: Like when she doesn't want to discuss about Tejas or that she doesn't expect anything from him. He looks hurt and together with the resentments, he just bursts out with anger the next minute.

Also, I have always noticed that his emotions are much deeper whether be anger, hurt or happiness, when it comes to Jhanak. Not Arshi, his cousins, his siblings, not even his parents. All that is reserved for Jhanak. I feel it is a double-edged sword. He can be the greatest supporter at one time, but he can also be her greatest obstacle too if it comes to situation.

This is my honest opinion at least.

I admire Jhanak at least for keeping her sanity and her remaining self-respect intact.

As I said before, she will remember all these things happening to her. Ani can never completely apologize to her in any situation in the future for this. This idiot is also digging a grave for himself by behaving this way, it forms an impression on her: she now considers him two-faced. She will be very resistant to even trust him now. Let alone love and care for him. She will not show even if she does, because she has seen how he behaves when he stands by his family and that will definitely happen in the future often as most of the Basus are against her. Realistically speaking, in India, marriage is not only between two people but between two families. So, If I were her, I would not pursue this relationship even if I love Ani unless he is willing to standup for me.
