I think someone as Yumna who was a part of Darr Si Jhati Hai and Dil Na Umeed should be more aware of the type of shows that are done. It’s not that she didn’t have a choice and that TB was the only project offered towards her. So Yeah I will always Blame Yumna and Wahaj for that show. There were many examples of actors who refused to shoot these type of scenes. Reel insipires Real. So many girls still want a partner like Murtasim even though of his despicable acts. I don’t think Yumna as woman of 21st century who works in a country where violence against women happen everyday should glamorize this type of behavior.Originally posted by: moosewithagoose
Yes, I remember that particular clip and even i was baffled to how she said that.
But I don't buy that just because they chose to do the show it means that they are ok with slap and mr in real life but that they did not find it problematic enough to perform on the show. The difference is between reel and real and tb is not the first drama to have such things. But yes, as responsible actors neither of them should have done a script like this.
