It's not deliberate avoiding. Like Bhumi, Richa, Taapsee, Kangana r decent actors. But I never have that urge or excitement to watch their movies. Same with Vikrant..

Will watch if they have rave reviews..like a 12th fail or Bhakshak.

shilpa shetty and her husband still getting movies. Raj did a movie and and performed at the wedding too.

It's really sad how normalized intolerance has become in this country. It is one thing to not like a tweet, but the lynch mob that is sent after anyone who fails to toe the party line is shameful. We will never progress as a country if we are this reactionary.

also as a hindu, I don't think what he said was hinduphobic at all. Maybe in bad taste, but it was calling out people committing atrocities while claiming to be hindus. You can dislike the cartoon but the bloodlust and eagerness to tear Massey down is just sad.

Being a hindu is appreciating all such people for their work onscreen but also reminding yourself to keep in mind what rotten hindu haters they are offscreen.

Getting movies and getting a large audience to watch them is different

Honestly.. there's no bloodlust. People r just calling out his tasteless comment. He has posted against govt. , in support of JNU protests, posted a pic of Priyanka Gandhi..no one cared. People calling out his tweet r the same ones who appreciated his movie 12th fail. U think they didn't know about his leanings? Specially after his Radhe Ma comment got so much traction? But people went ahead n appreciated his good work. Ab galat ko galat bolne me kya galat hai?

I am sorry, if it was just a matter of calling him out then it wouldn't have gone to this extent. People wouldn't be spamming him with hate even after he apologized. What is the end goal here? They want him to be punished. they want their pound of flesh. Otherwise this relentless hounding would have stopped after he acknowledged what they wanted him to. And this tweet was from 2018. So this is not an organic response. This is a calculated campaign.

And there is nothing wrong with calling out the govt, that is the function of a democracy. the govt is supposed to be answerable to the people.

LOL ignore! Same lot stays silent on actual bloodlust and beheadings across the country while lecturing on a bunch of netizens calling out a distasteful tweet. Ofcourse, continously hounding someone is wrong. Man has apologized already. But I guess some people have too much time in hands.

For me the worst thing about that cartoon is the deliberate misinformation about Ravana that he respected consent when he was infact a rapist.

For me it was Sita feeling ‘happy’ that she got abducted, doesn’t matter by who.🤢 Any person with basic intellect will think twice before propagating such stuff. I don’t have any problem with his actual tweet but how I wish he refrained from sharing that garbage cartoon.

I know right. Such deranged stuff always comes from the LW and peaks during Dussehra. Even I don't care about Vikrant's words but that cartoon was ewww! Degenerate and disturbing!
