Vikramaditya Motwane deserves an Oscar just for making Sonakshi look like a great actor for 2 hours and Ranveer deserves a balti award for getting overshadowed by Sonakshi.

Has the movie aged well?

In my mind, it is an ageless movie despite of the setting in a certain time.

O'Henry's short story is there only as an idea in form of an illness, the ill woman's thinking that she will die when the last leaf falls and the wish of a painter to make a masterpiece...the rest is another story. Still, O'Henry's idea gives this movie the poetic touch, imo.

Motwane is such a good writer/director smiley1 Did you watch his debut movie (Udaan)? I thought of the movie when I saw Ronit Roy hosting the Phalke Awards. Or Dev D (where Motwane was the writer)?

Lootera was Vikrant's first movie, btw....and 10 years later he gets his due as an actor with 12th fail smiley27
