So will they be showing that Meera had twins that she didnt know about, and maybe someone tried to steal one because they wanted a son, but something happened and they left "Surya" in the dustbin.

If they end up showing Surya is in fact Agastya ka twin, it makes me fear Agastya wont return. I did not like them show his scars for the same reason (unless they show it was due to the falling from the cliff).

Surya not on good terms with his adoptive mother is going to land Imlie in trouble. The mother will keep pushing him to prove he can protect this family etc. and he will unwillingly hurt Imlie to prove his loyalties. Agastya was also indebted to the Chaudhary family due to which Imlie always ended up being the second choice for him.

If Surya is the new hero for Imlie (assuming Agastya wont return), what is the point of making him as majboor as Agastya. I am not happy about this background information. The mother could have actually been nice to him. Yeh sabke baggage and traumas ko Imlie heal kyu kare.

Also, agree in that family, Sonali does not deserve any pain. Uske alawa I couldn't care less about any of them.

@Kashish, I have been telling about the foundation and stereotype since the last 3 episodes so didn't want to bring it up again. I was also annoyed to see the teeka on the mother's forehead. Another stereotype I believe. The representation of SIs on ITV in general so extra, kya hi bolne ka ab.

Even Imlie looks tanner as well, I thought maybe it was the lighting at first or maybe they were trying to show that post-leap she was more sun kissed because she’s working at the aloo puri stall.

With Surya, I’ve been noticing the darker foundation but today felt like overkill. Maybe because I’ve been staring at clips of August Babu the past 2 days, but what a contrast in complexion.

Like I haven’t watched Sai’s previous show but I feel like it’s kind of a lack of challenge for them to have him play another South Indian character. Like he looks good and I’m sure it’s fun for him to have more dialogues in telugu, but where’s the originality? His sister and his mother don’t use telugu words when speaking so why make it seem like it’s his reflex? Who is he speaking with in telugu if not them? Something is not flowing.

Again, my mind can’t help it but to compare with August Babu because he just was something else. His family dynamic was well established, we really knew so much about him in the end. Probably why they killed him as they felt they couldn’t go anywhere with him anymore story wise. Sai played him so well that the show feels incomplete without him. Surya still doesn’t feel like the male lead in vibes.

Are yaar... Main toh SKR first show pe velli thi... Wfh kar Rahi thi... Ab toh mandatory WFO hogaya that too 5 days week.. weekends bhi kabhi kabhi kaam hota hain... Toh main thoda TV ke duniya se bahar aagayi hu... Scehdule is full packed. Isiliye travelling me dekh leti hu kabhi kabhi... But still stalking the forum and if time permits giving my 2 rp opinions

Oh that's crazy. I am so lucky I don't have to go to work I was on a full IF and ITV break when I was previously working. Can't do work and IF together I know.

Finally watched the episode. I feel the creatives are throwing lot of red herrings our way.

So Looks like Surya was adopted and was bought home by his adopted father. So does that mean he might potentially be Meera's second twin son which got stolen from her from the hospital. If so, how are they going to even resolve the past given that probably Meera is gone away and there might not be anyone who knows about this swap.

The mother does not seem to be too fond of Surya so there goes our theory of maybe Surya is Agastya with memory loss. He seems to be a different character altogether.

I am glad that the police officer took away the case from Surya as he was emotionally vested in the case. And now the case is closed. So are they never going to ever visit this case ? So we have to assume that this one will be brushed off the rug just like that ? I can't help but think that the whole point of Raghu being dead is so that Surya can have his mindless badla with Imlie and can buy out the Chaudhary house.

I am really glad that Imlie got a lead about Binni. I think they are going to keep Binni open ended and may pack her off in a week or so when Surya and Imlie ka story takes off. That is why Binni is not doing plotting and planning like other permanent vamps. She is just a wallpaper who will be packed off when the time is correct.

There was one dialogue which Imlie said in today's episode when she was arguing with Surya - Did you hit your head or so and lost your memory. Was that just a dialogue or some indication ?

And lastly I agree with everyone else, Sai needs to tone down the darker foundation. He has gotten Surya to be different in his mannerisms and his dressing. There is no need to go so much on with the darker foundation. Please lighten up.

But this ungrateful family did not appreciate Imlie's goodness. I am really happy to see all of them suffering for what they did to Imlie.

Did Imlie hit Surya ka head with that rod or tube light or whatever or she hit his back? I thought it was in reference to that. I could be wrong though.

Yes the jeeja death is a set up for Surya to hate Imlie and may be revenge marry her. The whole set up is exactly like Sai ka first show like someone else pointed out. Actually Sai pulled off an Agastya who was a complete contrast character. Surya is somewhat similar to the usual tropes. I still feel Sai is doing well - it is not easy to make all your characters different. This is his 4th proper character in his ITV journey (3rd Telugu) and I can tell all of them apart- from clothes to hairstyle to mannerisms to dialogues and voice modulation.

Btw just a few hours ago we were thinking Surya is Agastya and made all these theories. Now we are back to thinking Surya is someone diff (not sure what the status of Agastya is now).

Bold 1: Oh how I’m wishing it had a double meaning, they’re really playing with our feelings. Like I’m starting to wonder if we’re the delusional ones for thinking that Agastya is still alive. But then again, there are still people out there who believe Vishwa will be back when he took his last breath in Agastya’s arms, so are we really the crazy ones?

Bold 2: Totally agree! They always have Sai frowning and creasing his brows for Surya. We and Imlie have no confusion when it comes to his mannerism, it’s very much a different character. Sai has been doing a wonderful job with the accent and the voice. Even his body language is different around Imlie. They could just colour match his foundation to Sai’s complexion honestly.

Bold 3: They always blame her for their misfortune but she’s what kept their house together. Agastya would’ve married a Rashmi/Binni type chor in his attempt to escape marriage with Nyonika. Sonali and her Lalla wouldn’t have had a good relationship ever. Amrit would’ve been living off their money to fund his NGO/Casting couch and cheating on Sonali without any of them ever knowing. The revenge family would’ve come to town whether Imlie was in the picture or not. They would’ve had an easier time bringing their plans to fruition if anything. Navya would’ve humiliated them a lot more with the Chutki picture situation. Without Chabeli, how would Agastya have gotten the property papers? She has saved them and Agastya so many times. But above everything, Agastya learnt to enjoy life because of her.
