I like what you are telling and it actually resonates with the montage..

But I have a slightly different take..

Abhira will always prioritize her dreams over anyone.. even over herself as it is the only connection she has with her mumma now..

But falling in love is not a chore or a definite thing..

For every single person on earth it is a continuous thing. The day it stops is the day you stop loving.

Armaan was falling for Bellatrix when the mess happened. Little by little he stopped and is now over her. At the same time he had Abhira who became a dear friend. That friendship was forged in responsibility, mutual care, respect, trust and companionship. Gradually he started falling for her and he will continue till his last breath. Love comes in all shapes and sizes and love frees you. Armaan is yet to realize but that doesn't mean he is not falling. He has started to feel something for her long before and the Yuvraj track will help him realize what is already there. There won't be a particularly single day when he will start to put her first over everyone else. It will happen gradually and it has already started.

for Abhira he is her only friend, her only family. Her goal is the most important thing for her but that doesn't mean she won't fall for him. Love doesn't look for reasons or logic. It happens naturally and it will happen with Abhira. It will cause heart break but that's part and parcel of love. She can't avoid it. I don't think Ruhaan truth will break her trust as she is someone who is empathic and will understand him. It will be hard for her but she will understand his predicament. She will be the only one who will stood by him with her trust.

I don't know whether I was able to make you understand my POV or not, but that's what I think will happen. Abhira will give him something he had never experienced before. That is Unconditional Friendship, Unbiased Companionship, Unbridled Happiness and Irrevocable Love.
