I watched the episode thinking there will be a Imlie/Surya scene, but all we got was a fainting spell. I am sure this is Surya only, no way can Agastya do this to her.

The Surya chacterization is not looking natural to me, its all a bit forced. Uff I dont know what to do, part of me doesnt want Surya to work so that Agastya comes back, but then wants it to work because we all know its a TRP game, and if TRP gets worse who knows what other bombshells we will be landed with.

I might be in minority but I think with the new twist they are going to go Revenge marriage with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam storyline. Surya might have misunderstanding on Imlie and lots of tashan later he might forcefully marry Imlie. Later he gets to know the previous marriage of Agastya and Imlie and he will repent and will help uncover what exactly happened that day. Right now Gul is going back to her standard template of angry young man.

if trps come then will not show Agastya returning - instead Surya will fulfill all of Imlie’s dreams by being her support and maybe they will have a happy ending in the end.

Yes they could have taken a better route. They just didn’t know how to expand Agastya - Imlie ka story after everything was resolved. Hence the pathetic twist

They always have Surya furrowing his brows, he’s going to get frown lines.

The last time Gul had a soft boy and even he wasn’t as soft as Agastya, it was Aahil in QH2. Another wounded soul with childhood trauma. She killed him but the actor had left back then so it was a bit different. She made the female lead lose her memory and believe she was somebody else’s wife. In his last moments, she yelled at him professing her love for the other man. She only remembered him after he died. By then it was obviously too late and then she took revenge for him by killing all the villains and then herself jumped off the same cliff he fell off of.

In hindsight, Agastya’s death was a bit more dignified. But still to say that Gul is capable of ruining her own shows sometimes. It’s been barely a week of Agastya being gone, and the more we feel like he’s actually dead, the least we want to tune in the next episode. It’s her fault obviously for giving us a character we came to love so much. In the ranks of ITV man, she gave us a sensitive understanding partner for our female lead. One who was quick to apologize when he made a mistake and shed more tears with her than he gave her.

Their wedding sequence was so beautiful just with how they were looking at each other alone, you could tell how much joy they both felt thinking their dream was going to come true. Gul gave him heavy dialogues making big promises about never leaving Imlie’s side. He soothed her fear only for it to end up being valid less than 30 minutes later. Agastya died and took a part of Imlie with him. She’s an empty shell of the girl we used to know, only motivated by fulfilling his last wishes. It’s hard as an audience to see her this miserable.

It’s even harder for us to settle for the reality that the only way she may get her happiness is through Surya, a character who still doesn’t feel like he fits in their universe. I don’t know y’all, like why couldn’t they just let Agastya and Imlie have a happy ending. I get that they needed to pull new stuff to keep the plot going but still.

In all of this, I can’t help but also be mad at August Babu. How dare he give up on surviving so easily? Life was never easy on Imlie and it has been worse since he’s been gone. And on top of that, because of his mistake, she has to bare extra insults and humiliation from his family. Meanwhile a random stranger is getting to gloat and enjoy the comfort of his room. Even in today’s episode, Imlie was sleeping outside on the cot when Surya came to investigate. August Babu used to prioritize her safety above his own feelings or misunderstanding. Yet now she’s out there exposed to all kind of dangers.

I remind myself it’s just a show but my god is it frustrating to see one character always get the short end of the stick. If August Babu is somehow alive then he probably has a roof under which he’s recovering in a coma. Even his Schrödinger’s cat wali fate guarantees him less struggle than Imlie.

I had to rant, I’ll write the positive points about the episode in another post.

Apart from Sonali, this whole family are a bunch of ehsaan faramosh. They curse their putti kismat when the truth is revealed and go back to humiliation at the next second. Blind bats the lot of them. I want them to wake up one day and find that Binni has truly looted them, let her forge the haveli in her name or something and kick the lot of them out. Barring Sonali they all deserve it. The Choudhury family are all overacting the dukaan, right now I'll even tolerate a repentive Amrit coming back, at least the dude can act.

Bold: I don't think now they are going to show her pregnant. It feels like they are setting up the stage for a new love story. Like u said, revenge trope. If they show her pregnant, it will be really inhumane from Surya's end to seek revenge from a pregnant lady who's already going through so much. Even the trp audience would not like it.

As of now makers have enraged all kinds of audience.

No but honestly what did he expect? Even if Binni wasn’t a gold digger, did he really think Dadi was going to accept Imlie or believe Imlie? Especially with how she’d handled Dhanraj and Kunal’s death, did he genuinely believe Dadi would welcome Imlie with open arms after he was gone? Like yes tell her to fulfil her dreams but why burden her with taking care of your family when you know they currently hate her?
