That's because he acts better when he's challenged by someone. With Mallika, who has done mostly rather soft roles till now, I don't know about other roles she had parallel to Radha apart from Alakshmi, but I feel to be as bold as Devi here, it's going to take a lot of effort for her. She has potential but the director too shouldn't be lazy and guide her in it, as well as Adnan who is performing only half of his potential. And why are they giving him so much food to eat?? Is it to mask his grasp of hindi or something?

It can take me a while to digest that, but even I'm finding it hard to say that he's good at his role in Ashok. Saw the trailer yesterday and heck, had to admit it wasn't a natural acting, rather forced. 🫣🫥😶‍🌫️

Well that would be a big blow for him, but he himself felt like he wasn't for this role. The right things are harder to admit. I guess he's trying too hard to portray him. The respecting part is also true and another part is that Adnan should believe in himself 1st to do justice to the role. One tiny little details everyone missed Helena is taking Bindusara's name but also calling him Aap. In real history Bindusara and Helena were good friends as they were in same age group. The show needs to clear on this part because whatever she is doing she is not acting like a mom with him which is fine because their relationship wasn't like mom and son. She wasn't his mom but step mom who was of his own age. He might have called her Maa out of respect of her relationship with his father.

If Helena married Bindusara in parallel universe 🤣😂 oh god this is so funny 😅

If an actor wants to audition, they can, however, Casting Team (HR equivalent) is also responsible for selecting the whole team of actors. They should have known better. Could have tried different expressions/emotions and lines.

Either they want this show to flop or did a really terrible blunder with casting of main leads. Adnan is looking really funny as Ashok. Except Adnan and Mallika and the pathetic way of storytelling and cheap editing, supporting cast is actually good.
