Literary sources doesn't mention Karuwaki at all. Literary sources has names Asandhimitra and Tisyarakshita. Tisyarakshita is associated with Karuwaki. Some scholars say Karuwaki was original name of Tisyarakshita. Tisyarakshita was a new more fancy name given to her by Ashok.

Only those people would know lol. Unless and until further evidence are found or a time travel machine is found, I can only assume or go by what the archeologist wrote.

Historians are very much clear Sakyani (Devi) , Asandhimitra and Tisyarakshita were different women. Karuwaki is associated with Tisyarakshita not Asandhimitra. You can pick any book of any reputed historian. No one calls Karu as Asandhimitra but most of them associate her with Tisyarakshita. Rest it is your decision which source to believe.

Just wondering, did any wives of Ashoka love him at all?? Love him for being him and not a prince or next in line for the throne.
