Few episodes back we made theories that Either binni or Imlie will use Surya to lay claim to Chaudhary mansion/wealth but we know family drama doesn't work for this show. So they have written Surya character as someone who seems like he doesn't take orders from anyone . Now with Imlie getting involved in his jeeja murder, I think they will have this classic trope of relationship between Police officer and criminal.

Imlie ko yaad toh bahut aayegi Agastya ki when she will look at Surya face but she isn't emotionally fool to let her emotions take control over her. That's how creatives might maintain purity of her love towards Agastya

As for Surya, Imlie will be a puzzle .How can an innocent looking Imlie kill someone.

I wonder to what extent Surya is going to use his unconventional police wala ways to investigate his jeeja’s death. I’d imagine he’d go off the books for a personal matter like this one.

I really don’t want him to manhandle or harass Imlie to find the truth. We don’t know enough about his character for now to guarantee he wouldn't take it too far. He is currently shown as the hero so obviously they wouldn’t make him do anything too outrageous. But no matter what, Imlie is definitely not the kind to let herself get intimated or bullied. She only endured Vishwa because of the blackmail, for Agastya’s sake. There’s nothing to use against her, Ashu is already with the Chaudhary or at the hostel. What leverage would Surya even have over Imlie to try and make her confess what happened to his jeeja/baava?

You girls are getting stressed for no reason. Agasthya-Imlie has to be the end game. Her baby has to come back for her. Surya may fall for her but Imlie won’t.

The makers are going to create a lot of confusions showing Surya’s crooked ways and his interactions with Imlie. But sooner or later he will help Imlie meet Agasthya.

I am also in the gang. Yesterday the entry of Surya made the show a bit different but today I want our Babu back. This show is lifeless without him. No surya can replace him even though the role is playing by Sai only. The audience who developed a connection with Agasthya during last 5 months is going to feel a disconnect with the show. My urge to watch the show in the morning is dead now. And I guess TRP won't that great too. Yes, the trp of next week will be high cuz of Agasthya's death but post that..I don't know.

We don't know how the audience reacts to the new character. Some might like it and would love to see a different vibe from the same actor. That is why they made Surya very fierce and a police officer at that. So now we might have the classic misunderstanding between Imlie and Surya and then later Surya realizing the love that Imlie has for Agastya trying to help her out.

We need to see how the audience likes this new twist. So far the buzz is really good on Twitter. No idea on the IG and other sites.

Yes Surya on the montage(even if it is Sai ka pic only) proves that now the leads of the show are Surya and Imlie. Yeah we might not have a love story immediately but eventually the creatives might weave a story between them. I really hope Agastya returns because the love story of Imlie and Agastya needs to be completed. Surya can then graciously step back after seeing the love of Imlie and Agastya.

I have a doubt.. After Agastya comes back, will they again change the montage?? If so, wouldn't they confuse the audience by repeatedly changing it??

Uff, how much struggles does 1 woman need to suffer for the sake of TRP, Mami kya kam thi now she is being harassed. Thanks for the update, I will skip watching it.

Imlie's unconditional love for her babu is difficult and bittersweet to watch, she cares for nothing else in life then to fulfill his wishes. I miss the bindass attitude wala Imlie, this Imlie is upsetting to watch. Agastya better come back within the next month, this is torturous to watch her go through such anguish.

Same, my motivation is diminishing too.. Like even if Surya turns out to be August later, for now, it's not easy to watch..

I don't know man...

Maybe this twist gains them new viewers, but still some folks might leave cos of Agastya's chapter ending.. like me, if they are too invested.. Maybe take a break and then see after sometime..

But still kudos to the team, for creating a character, and a love story, for which we are so saddened and not ready to let go, even if the new ML (in case he is), looks exactly like the previous one.. 😅

Same to same, I didn’t have that joy of a new episode today. I already knew we wouldn’t have any scenes in regard to August Babu, I hope in the future they add some flashbacks or dream sequences for Imlie and our sake.

Yesterday, seeing Imlie’s thela name and how she carried him with her in every thought warmed my heart. But his absence was really felt in today’s episode, like something was missing. I even miss hearing his BGM music, it was so epic.

Surya is an interesting fresh new character so I try to be optimistic when it comes to his scenes. Especially because it’s a different side of Sai that I’m personally seeing since I didn’t watch his other shows.

Imlie’s resilience and strength is something I admire. But I feel so bad for her when they show us all the ways she’s struggling since he’s been gone. Forget receiving respect as his widow, it’s hard for her to even have her basic necessities met like shelter and food.

I’m hoping tomorrow’s episode will make the vibes more clear so I know what to expect from Imlie and Surya’s interactions. I’d rather chor police than potential enemies to lover.

I haven't watched today's episode and not planning to watch it as well.. Jab tak I don't get a hint from the makers that Agastya is alive, I won't watch it, not even for the hotness Surya brings on screen

Waise how are the views on the episode and how is the show in the popular category. That would give a rough idea of how this twist is being taken by the trp audience.

This is probably the most people I’ve seen in the AT since I’ve joined. It’s kind of sad that a bunch of us are losing motivation to continue watching.

I started writing after the end of the contract era when we were in the Vishwa blackmail track. I think it’s amazing that we’re able to analyze the scenes and the characters emotions to this extent. The TRP audience isn’t like us.

The few times I’ve watched with my mum, she didn’t catch on to the little details. She loves the moments where Imlie is shown to be multitalented. Seeing her be a culinary genius, a devout bahu or an enchanting singer. She finds it impressive when Imlie conquers hardship on her own. But even she loves Agastya and Imlie’s relationship and how they support each other, because Agastya is also an aadarsh pati. He’s a befitting partner for Imlie in terms of qualities in her eyes.

These characters were written in such a way that we as an audience are invested in them finding their happiness. Surya’s entry is fun and interesting but I don’t know if it’ll lead to Agastya and Imlie completing their kahani for now.

I still have enough hope in me to watch, I don’t feel like skipping episodes yet. But by Holi, if I see that they’re going for Surya and Imlie romantically, then I might actually take that break to binge watch the contract era again like that there will be a bank of episodes for me to catch back. Aage ki kahani jaane TRP rani…
