Reasons Agastya can still be alive:

Chaudhary family is still integral part of show and Imlie promise to take care of them. If Imlie was to really move on with Surya, then Chaudhary family ka role khatam ho jayega because they are last link to Agastya character.

Binni flaunting as Agastya wife and her right on Chaudhary mansion which pricked Imlie. Now this conflict too can be resolved only if Agastya comes and give Imlie the respect as his wife and bahu of Chaudhary family

Same.. I am not going to watch if they show any romantic angle between Surya & Imlie. It better be limited to the murder mystery of his brother in law, after that Agastya needs to come back

Bold: but chaudharys will still remain an integral part of the show if Surya is actually the twin brother of Agastya.

Red: this can be resolved using Surya as well. If Surya comes as Agastya in front of Binni & questions her in a serious note, she will blurt out the entire truth. Also, the audience already knows that nothing happened between them.

I know I'm being way too pessimistic but this is my fear of not getting to see August on my screen again

I saw the BTS as well, they really had Sai and Adrija latkao-ing on that branch (with harness and safety measures, of course)

The fall felt a bit unserious because of the green screen but they both put everything into that performance in terms of dialogue delivery. I will always love how Agastya and Imlie look at eachother.

IPL seasons starts around Holi, will August Babu be back to complete that hamesha wala sath with Imlie by then? Or will we see hints of a romantic angle between Imlie and Surya? I’m not expecting love but maybe tension or something after spending so much time on screen together. The sheer idea of romantically inclined scenes between them makes me uncomfortable even though it’s still Sai and Adrija.

A lot of our predictions when it comes to the Chaudhary’s and Binni came true but Surya is new territory. Ka pata what he’ll do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Few episodes back we made theories that Either binni or Imlie will use Surya to lay claim to Chaudhary mansion/wealth but we know family drama doesn't work for this show. So they have written Surya character as someone who seems like he doesn't take orders from anyone . Now with Imlie getting involved in his jeeja murder, I think they will have this classic trope of relationship between Police officer and criminal.

Imlie ko yaad toh bahut aayegi Agastya ki when she will look at Surya face but she isn't emotionally fool to let her emotions take control over her. That's how creatives might maintain purity of her love towards Agastya

As for Surya, Imlie will be a puzzle .How can an innocent looking Imlie kill someone.

Yes I think Imlie will get dilemma that Surya has the same face as Agastya but once she knows that he is not Agastya, she will not fall for him. It would be cruel because for a moment at least Imlie will have the hope that her babu has come back. Sigh - Abhi Imlie ko aur bhi rona hain.

Yes Surya might fall for Imlie as she is indeed a gold hearted girl. But I doubt Imlie will fall for Surya though she will be momentarily caught with the striking resemblance of Surya to her babu.

I am also in the gang. Yesterday the entry of Surya made the show a bit different but today I want our Babu back. This show is lifeless without him. No surya can replace him even though the role is playing by Sai only. The audience who developed a connection with Agasthya during last 5 months is going to feel a disconnect with the show. My urge to watch the show in the morning is dead now. And I guess TRP won't that great too. Yes, the trp of next week will be high cuz of Agasthya's death but post that..I don't know.

For new audience Surya is a grey shaded character but still the male lead . This point gets even more proven because he is on montage besides Imlie. Hero heroine ke romance ke bina ITV show kaisa even if he turns out to be Agastya in the end

Yes Surya on the montage(even if it is Sai ka pic only) proves that now the leads of the show are Surya and Imlie. Yeah we might not have a love story immediately but eventually the creatives might weave a story between them. I really hope Agastya returns because the love story of Imlie and Agastya needs to be completed. Surya can then graciously step back after seeing the love of Imlie and Agastya.

Surya can never have the emotional history or trauma that Agsatya shared with Chaudhary family even if he is twin. Dadi ne literally Agsatya ko Maa ki tarh pyar kiya tha aur parvarish ki. Remember those childhood flashback of ladoo feeding scene. Can Surya ever replicate that. Will Sonali ever feel that Surya can ever take place of her Lalla ji with whom she had shared a frenemy type relationship

If Surya as Agastya comes and expose binni, track will get over . Uske baad kya dikhayenge. We all know family drama doesn't work for this show. And after watching today episode, it's clear Surya doesn't take orders of anyone. why would he help Imlie unless there's profit for him too in the deal

There is no way the love story would start so soon. And the biggest thing this show is missing is the theharaav. So I don't think the creatives are going to show Imlie feeling for Surya so soon. They both are going to be very nonchalant and uninterested and only after their repeated interactions they will understand each other.

Maybe Surya will see the persistence with which Imlie is following up Agastya's death and he might be surprised first that people like this are living and he might volunteer to help her. Slowly they might develop their partnership and try to understand each other. Whatever happens next it should be very slow burn. Otherwise it would feel as if Imlie's love for her babu was limited only to his good looking face and we all know that what Imlie feels for Agastya is way way deep.
