Should I really make Ruhi completely evil 🤔

You can make Ruhi a grey character. You can make your created character more interesting than the show's character. If you create a grey character you will be able to add a few redeeming qualities. If will be interesting if you create her character in such a way that the readers can connect to her.

FF#1: "Tangled Hearts"

~Part 2~

Prologue: Click here

Part 1: Click here #1

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

✨ Part 2 Scene 1 ✨

Abhira felt a surge of anger rising within her, but it was quickly overshadowed by a deep sense of betrayal. She had trusted Armaan, relied on him to come to her rescue, for this?

Ruhi?

The sight of Ruhi sitting with Armaan felt like a stab to her heart, fueling the flames of resentment and jealousy that simmered within her. She couldn't bear to watch any longer, couldn't bear to see Armaan with the woman who represented everything she feared losing.

" But, No. I am not weak and what will I lose. I have only me and my dreams to succeed in my career so that I can fullfill my Mumma's wish" Abhira's inner voices called for the Strong, Independent Abhira.

Abhira took a deep breath, willing herself to regain her composure before facing Yuvraj. With a forced smile on her lips, she blinked back the tears threatening to spill from her eyes and turned to look at Yuvraj with a forced smile.

Yuvraj: (mockingly) Armaan hi hai Naa woh? Tumhara husband?

As she got up from her seat, she knew she couldn't let Yuvraj see the turmoil raging inside her. She needed to maintain her facade of strength and confidence, even in the face of adversity.

Abhira: (coolly) He is busy with his office work maybe. I need to go to washroom. I will be back.

She couldn't shake off the feeling of betrayal that lingered in the air, but she knew she needed to confront Armaan and Ruhi head-on. She thought of going to restroom to clear her mind before she confronts Armaan. Plastering a smile on her face, masking the turmoil within, she was pulled back her chair about to leave.

✨ Part 2 Scene 2 ✨

Armaan sat alone in the bustling café, his eyes scanning the room in search of Abhira. He had rushed straight here as soon as he received her urgent text message, his heart pounding with worry and anticipation.

"Meet me at the cafeteria, It's urgent"

He was waiting for Abhira, his wife in a contract marriage, yet someone he had developed unspoken feelings for.

"Meet me at the cafeteria. It's urgent" Armaan re-read the message again and again. What can this be about?" He thought to himself.

As Armaan sat alone in the café, his mind was consumed by thoughts of Abhira. He couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that weighed heavily on his shoulders, knowing that he had hurt Abhira by not being forthcoming about his past with Ruhi.

Armaan's heart ached at the memory of Abhira's hurt expression when she had first learned about his past relationship with Ruhi. He had seen the pain in her eyes, the betrayal she felt at his silence. But what troubled him even more was Abhira's subsequent lack of reaction thereafter. Her stoic demeanor unsettling him more than any outburst could have.

He knew he had to make things right, to earn back Abhira's trust and reassure her of his commitment to their friendship. And part of that meant putting as much distance as possible between himself and Ruhi.

Armaan couldn't explain why he felt the need to keep his distance from Ruhi, only that it felt like the right thing to do. He couldn't risk jeopardizing his relationship to Abhira, couldn't bear the thought of hurting her any further. As he waited anxiously for Abhira to arrive, his mind raced with thoughts of how to make amends, how to rebuild what he had broken.

But as minutes turned into what felt like an eternity, there was still no sign of her. Armaan furrowed his brow in concern, his fingers tapping anxiously against the tabletop as he waited.

Just as he was about to reach for his phone to text her back, a hand landed on his shoulder, causing him to startle and look up. It was Ruhi, her presence catching him off guard in more ways than one.

Armaan: Ruhi, what are you doing here?

Ruhi's smile was bright, but there was a hint of something calculated in her eyes, something that set Armaan on edge.

Ruhi: (Smoothly) Oh, just passing through. I couldn't help but notice you sitting here all alone. Thought I'd come say hi.

Armaan's instincts told him to be wary, to keep his guard up around Ruhi. He couldn't shake off the feeling that her sudden appearance was anything but coincidental.

Ruhi: Do you mind, if I sit?

Armaan: You can.

Ruhi's smile widened, a hint of mischief dancing in her eyes as she took a seat opposite Armaan.

Armaan couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Ruhi's sudden appearance than she was letting on.

He searched her face for any sign of ulterior motives, but her expression remained infuriatingly inscrutable.

Armaan: (Trying to remain composed) Well, it's nice to see you, Ruhi. But I'm actually waiting for Abhira. Have you seen her?

Ruhi's smile faltered for a fraction of a second before she recovered, her gaze flickering with something that Armaan couldn't quite decipher.

Ruhi: (Smoothly) Oh, Abhira? No, I haven't seen her. But I'm sure she'll be here soon.

Armaan nodded, trying to suppress the nagging feeling of unease that gnawed at him. Something about Ruhi's presence felt off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

As they sat in awkward silence, Armaan's mind raced with worry for Abhira. Where was she? And why hadn't she shown up yet? With each passing moment, his concern for her grew, fueling his determination to find her and make sure she was safe.

✨ Part 2 Scene 3 ✨

Armaan heard the boisterous laughter in the café, drawing his attention towards Abhira. His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of her, but his joy quickly turned to concern as he noticed the pained expression on her face. His gaze shifted to the man behind her, laughing as he looked in Armaan's direction. Armaan's stomach churned with dread as he recognized the figure, that nightmare of a figure confirmed in an instant.

Yuvraj.

The name he never forgets. He couldn't fathom why Yuvraj was here, why he was tormenting Abhira with his presence, but one thing was certain - he needed to intervene before things escalated further.

Armaan saw Abhira turning back to Yuvraj.

Armaan: (Quietly, to Ruhi) I need to go talk to Abhira.

Ruhi's eyes narrowed with frustration, but she forced a smile, hiding her disappointment.

Ruhi: (Forced cheerfulness) Of course, Armaan. Don't let me keep you from her.

Armaan made his way towards Abhira, his heart raced with a mix of apprehension and determination. He couldn't bear to see Abhira in distress and she was distressed.

As Abhira stood up, "is she leaving?" Armaan thought, with a sense of urgency, Armaan's voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Abhira!"

"Where are you going, I was waiting for you!" Armaan asked, his tone laced with concern as he reached out to hold her hand firmly, anchoring her in place.

Abhira's heart skipped a beat as she turned to face Armaan, her eyes wide with surprise and confusion. She had been so certain that Armaan had ignored her message, choosing to spend time with Ruhi instead. But his words now contradicted her assumptions, filling her with a sense of relief she hadn't dared to hope for.

"I... I thought you were with...." Abhira stammered, her voice barely above a whisper as she struggled to process Armaan's unexpected declaration.

Armaan's grip tightened on her hand, his eyes softening with sincerity as he spoke.

"I was waiting for you, Abhira," Armaan confessed, his gaze unwavering as he held her gaze.

A rush of emotions flooded over Abhira, her heart swelling with gratitude and disbelief. She had doubted Armaan's intentions, fearing that she was nothing more than a burden to him. But his words now shattered her doubts, filling her with a sense of warmth and reassurance she hadn't felt in a long time.

Yuvraj intervened, his voice smooth and charming but urgent as he addressed Armaan.

Yuvraj: (Casually) Armaan,

Abhira's husband Armaan. (snickering) ! pleasant meeting you here.

Armaan forced a smile, though his gut churned with discomfort at Yuvraj's presence.

Armaan: (Forced politeness) Hello Yuvraj. What brings you here?

Yuvraj's eyes gleamed with mischief as he glanced towards Abhira, a knowing smile playing on his lips.

Yuvraj: (With a wink) Oh, just catching up with an old friend. You know how it is.

Armaan: (Sharply) Stop playing games.

Yuvraj: (With a sly grin) Ah, but Armaan, life is just one big game, isn't it? And I always play to win.

Armaan's heart sank as he realized the implications of Yuvraj's words, his suspicions confirmed in an instant. He knew he had to tread carefully, to protect Abhira from whatever games Yuvraj was playing.

Armaan: (Noticing Abhira's distant expression) Abhira, is everything alright?

Abhira: (Forcing a smile) Yes, everything's fine. Just a little tired, that's all.

Armaan's brow furrowed in concern, but he chose not to press further, respecting Abhira's desire for privacy. Unbeknownst to her, he had observed Yuvraj's subtle attempts at manipulation and felt a simmering anger brewing within him.

Yuvraj: (Smoothly) Have a seat guyz, how about a cup of coffee?

Yuvraj sitting across them, his eyes fixed on Abhira with an unsettling intensity. Yuvraj knew that Abhira was stealing glances at him, and it thrilled him to no end.

Yuvraj: (To himself, with a smirk) She's starting to realize that I'm the only one who truly understands her. Soon, she'll come running to me.

Abhira's heart raced with trepidation as she felt Yuvraj's gaze burning into her, sending shivers down her spine. But she dared not voice her fears to Armaan, unwilling to burden him with her troubles.

As Armaan noticed Abhira's unease growing by the second, he called for the waiter to pay the bill. Her furtive glances towards Yuvraj didn't escape his notice, and he felt a surge of frustration mingled with protectiveness coursing through him.

Armaan: (Gently, yet firmly) Abhira, let's go. We need to leave.

Abhira glanced up at him, her eyes reflecting a mixture of relief and apprehension.

But before they could make their escape, Yuvraj's voice cut through the air, his tone laced with malice.

Yuvraj: (Menacingly) Leaving so soon, Abhira? I thought we were just getting reacquainted. Kal kab milogi mujhse?

Abhira's blood ran cold at Yuvraj's words, her instincts screaming at her to flee.

She knew she couldn't leave without Armaan, without his protection.

Armaan's jaw clenched with determination as he stepped in front of Abhira, shielding her from Yuvraj's menacing presence.

Armaan: (Firmly) We're leaving, Yuvraj. Good Bye.

Yuvraj's eyes blazed with fury as he watched Armaan usher Abhira out of the cafeteria, his obsession with her fueling his anger.

Yuvraj: (Coldly) This isn't over, Abhira. I'll be seeing you soon enough.

Abhira didn't look back, her hand tightly clasped in Armaan's as they made their escape, leaving behind the darkness and uncertainty that had threatened to consume them.

Abhira's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions as she followed Armaan, her heart torn between gratitude for his protective instinct and a stubborn determination to handle her own problems. She couldn't shake off the memory of Ruhi's subtle taunts, the fear of being seen as a burden to Armaan gnawing at her from within.

As Abhira turned to glance back to see whether Yuvraj was following them, a sense of unease gripped her, but before she could fully assess the situation, Armaan gently cupped her face, his touch warm and reassuring. He turned her face towards his, his eyes searching hers with concern and affection.

Armaan: (Softly) Abhira, what's wrong? Is there something bothering you? You know you can tell me anything, right?

Abhira's heart swelled with a mixture of gratitude and guilt at Armaan's words, his unwavering support tugging at her heartstrings. She hesitated, her mind warring with conflicting thoughts. She wanted to confide in Armaan, to share her fears and worries with him, but a part of her resisted, unwilling to burden him with her problems.

Abhira: (Forcing a smile) It's nothing, Armaan. Just feeling a bit overwhelmed, that's all.

Armaan's brow furrowed in concern, his eyes probing hers for the truth.

Armaan: (Gently) Abhira, I know you. Something is bothering you, and I want to help. Please, don't shut me out.

Abhira's resolve wavered at Armaan's persistence, his unwavering support melting the walls she had built around her heart. But still, she hesitated, unable to find the courage to voice her fears.

Armaan: (Voice laced with determination) Yuvraj will not dare to harm you, Abhira. I won't let him. But if there's anything else bothering you, anything at all, please don't hesitate to tell me.

Abhira's eyes welled up with tears at the sincerity in Armaan's voice, the weight of her fears feeling lighter with his unwavering support.

Abhira: (Softly) Armaan, I appreciate your concern. But right now, I just need some time to sort through my thoughts.

Armaan's expression softened, his hand reaching out to gently wipe away a stray tear from Abhira's cheek.

Armaan: (Tenderly) Take all the time you need, Abhira. Just know that I'm here whenever you're ready to talk.

As they held each other close, Abhira felt a pang of guilt gnawing at her, knowing that she was keeping herself away from Armaan, the one person she trusted above all else, yet dragging him into her mess. But even as she wrestled with her inner turmoil, for now she found solace in the warmth of Armaan's embrace, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, even if it's only for today, she had him by her side, a pillar of strength and support.

As Abhira gently removed Armaan's hands from her face, she offered him a reassuring smile, masking the turmoil raging within her.

Abhira's heart ached at the sincerity in Armaan's voice, his words tempting her to let down her guard and seek solace in his embrace. But she knew she had to stand on her own, to prove to herself and to Ruhi that she wasn't a burden to Armaan.

Abhira: (Forcing a smile) Armaan, I appreciate your concern. I'm fine and I can handle this on my own. Let's just go home.

With a heavy heart, Armaan reluctantly nodded, realizing that Abhira wasn't ready to open up to him just yet. As they made their way to his car, he couldn't shake off the feeling of helplessness gnawing at him, the desire to protect Abhira warring with his respect for her independence.

As they settled into the car, the tension between them palpable, Armaan couldn't help but steal glances at Abhira, his heart aching with the need to comfort her.

Their eyes met in a moment of silent understanding, a bond of love and trust weaving between them despite the distance that still lingered. And as Armaan started the car, guiding them towards home, he vowed to himself that he would stand by Abhira's side, even if she chose to face her demons alone.

✨ Part 2 Scene 4 ✨

Back in the cafeteria;

As Ruhi sat down in front of Yuvraj, her expression cool and composed, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity.

"So, who exactly are you?" Ruhi asked, her tone laced with curiosity. "And why does it seem like Armaan and Abhira dislike you?"

Yuvraj's eyes flashed with anger, but he managed to maintain his composure as he responded, his voice tinged with bitterness.

"Abhira likes me, it's just Armaan who is stupid enough to come in between us."

Ruhi's heart raced at Yuvraj's expressions, a sense of guilt creeping over her. Had she been wrong to help him without knowing more about him? But her desire to win back Armaan had clouded her judgment, leading her to divulge information about Abhira and Armaan's marriage, exaggerating their differences. Her chain of thoughts were disrupted by his voice.

"Tell me their house address," demanded Yuvraj, his voice cold and demanding.

Ruhi was taken aback by Yuvraj's abruptness. She remembered meeting him a few days ago when he appeared cheerful and charming, a stark contrast to the menacing figure before her now.

Recalling their initial encounter at a cafeteria near Abhira's office, where she had observed Yuvraj's interest in Abhira, Ruhi had decided to befriend him to gather information. She had shared details about Abhira and her college to gain his trust.

"I .... I don't know," Ruhi stammered, deciding to lie about not knowing the address. She lived next door to Armaan and Abhira, but faced with Yuvraj's intense anger, she no longer wanted to engage with him or his questions.

With a sense of unease, Ruhi quickly made her exit, leaving Yuvraj fuming with frustration. She knew she had to be cautious, as her involvement with Yuvraj could potentially lead to grave consequences.

PS. Sorry, It's too long. I am kind of lost with the direction of the story.

PPS. I should stick to OS only. I knew long fictions are not my forte. :(
