In Ekta's universe, first wife is always evil who does dimag pe raj 🤣 she showed Ruqayyah snatching baby of Jodha, Helena having two kids and now Devi will also have two kids 😂

The banter between Sushim and Ashok is so cute and seems like younger bros don't hate Ashok, they praise him time to time 😂🤣 one of them said Ashok ko aana chahiye tha, saand ko patak deta 🤣

In the SRK and Kareena, Ashoka movie, why did they decide to show the romance between Karuwaki and Ashoka though? He loved and favored Asandhimitra more, why not show this?

Now shows after shows keep repeating this love story of Karu-Ashok.

I started watching because if adnan khan... have stopped because of the horrendous wig they've given him... my broom has better definition.

Secondly a lot of work was needed on the actors diction. It's anglicized Indianised and a combo of urdu and Hindi. This I believe would have been better off as pure hindi... not because I diss urdu... before people jump I think urdu is one of the most beautiful languages on God's good earth.

Coming back to this monstrosity language of the period wouldn't have been mixed.

Finally the creative liberties being taken with the story line itself makes me wonder why ektas team doesn't stick to sitcoms and soaps and why would they want to touch historical topics... if nothing else out of respect...!

Dude, did you see him in all of those interviews with Mallika? Compare it with him and Aditi at the start of KA. Dude is already regretting his life choices with this 1. Only thing keeping him in are the new skills like horse riding, action scenes and sword fighting. Also realized not 1 time he added being on Ashoka for acting, which he loves to, obviously.

He was initially bit serious in KA interviews but eased up quickly with Aditi may be because Aditi was well spoken.

Here I think Mallika is not that great with words. She was fumbling in most of the interviews. Adnan was the one talking and explaining things for PA.

Balaji Telefilms haven't done any research nor tried to put in effort to bring in authenticity in any department be it language, costumes, bgm etc.

Urdu I think came after 1500s, after Islam was introduced to the world, if I'm not wrong. Sorry I haven't researched it yet.

Because his marriages with Devi and Asandhimitra were highly peaceful and origins of both are known, no drama in their marriage that's why. Origins of Kaurwaki are not known so SRK made her princess of Kalinga to add drama and forbidden love trope in the story and also changed her name from Karuwaki to Kaurwaki. That movie was a big flop yet every popular media whether TV, Novels or movies make Karuwaki main heroine in their story and a princess of Kalinga when she wasn't. In a novel called Beloved of Gods it's Padmavati who is written as Queen of Kalinga 🤣😂

Same happens with character of Helena, in old movies she used to be a sweet young girl who was in love with Chandragupta but after Chakravartin Ashok Samrat they all started making her a villain and a blonde woman. She was neither a villain not blonde. Her mother was Persian and she was devotee of Apollo (Sun God). She lived in Iraq and was brought up in multicultural environment. So she didn't hate other cultures like they often show. Her dressing was also more closer to Persian-Greek mixture and after her marriage she wore dresses as Chandragupta wanted her like Jodha (Harka) didn't wear lehngas but proper Mughal dressing but no one will show the truth.

This is inspired from Animal movie how Ranveer convinced his wife in the movie to marry him. 🤣😂 Ashok willingly married Devi, hope marriage with Karu will be alliance instead of him cheating on Devi 😒
