It's 2am, most of my brain cells have gone to sleep, don't know if I will watch today's episode, but at least by not showing the face we have the ambiguity. The spirit conversation can be down to Imlie being delirious from hunger and dehydration,

Rula diya aaj mujhe, my eyes got misty during Imlie’s confrontation with Radharani in the mandir. But then the tears spilled out when she had that conversation with Agastya’s “soul”. Without any flashbacks, they made us reminisce on the beauty of their relationship. It could definitely be her hallucination as she hasn’t ate, drank or slept properly since his “demise” or they could also play it out to be his actual spirit in the case where he’s really dead.

I do feel like they’re leaving it very ambiguous. No face was shown to the audience but the family’s shocked reaction could either play into them actually seeing his face or it being so disfigured that it horrified them, whilst at the same time his attire could’ve confirmed that it’s indeed him. Kind of like a mind completing the picture situation. Sonali is braver than I am, I could never if it was my little brother, to lift off the sheet and possibly see his dead face, absolutely not.

We called it with Binni, she’s going to try and pass off somebody else’s child as Agastya’s. Aside from the audience, no one knows that on their “first night” that Agastya slept on Imlie’s gadda. The Chaudhary’s are bereaved and naive enough to believe that Gattu was so caught up in his misery that he consummated his marriage with Binni. They’re really going to be protective of her pregnancy as it’s Gattu’s last nishani in their eyes. August Babu really messed up with this one, aur karo dusri contract shaadi, was there a 2 for 1 deal?!

Imlie has been kicked out of the house and she seems to be operating her aloo puri tela again, not sure if she’s still working at the bar. Her warning in the precap made it seem like she wasn’t going to interfere unless Binni hurts the Chaudhary’s, so in a way she’s fulfilling her promise to August Babu as he wanted peace for his family.

At the moment, the Chaudhary’s made it clear that they don’t want her around even to grieve Agastya. Thankfully Sonali is still an ally to Imlie and tells her about the pregnancy. Imlie will definitely try to prove that it isn’t her Babu’s. For a fact, Surya could be brought in as fake Agastya to further the plot. But end of the day, real Agastya has to be back to unveil the truth. My hope isn’t dead. The PH is waiting on the TRP and audience reactions to determine what they’ll cement into the track.

It was still a devastating sight to see Agastya’s picture with the mala. Very emotionally heavy episode but perfectly executed. Big praise to the team for pulling it off.

Yes it did not show the elaborate funeral pyre burning thing. But they gave a "2 days after" in the bottom. So it is assumed that the family has burnt the body and has kept the prayer meet for Agastya's salvation.

Basically that promo was for shock value...

Aaarggghh.. I need to know somehow if August and Imlie are end game or not.. Else its tough to watch next few episodes, without being emotionally invested... 💔

Ok just finished watching, what could only be described as the most difficult episode to watch of Imlie season 3.

I cannot start without giving a standing ovation to Addy. She was the star today. Her face without makeup, looking so distraught drove home the point that indeed we won't be seeing Agastya anymore in the show (hopefully he comes back soon). Sai in the very small hallucination scene was impactful - on point dialogues and amazing voice modulation. Have to give it to Gul for managing the perfect casting.

I know we didn't see the face, but the hand belonged to Agastya (Sai ke haath pechanti hoo main). The family all looked shocked when they pulled down the sheet but it could be more of shock rather than actually seeing his face.

Imlie ka conversation in the temple had me bawling. It is so unfair that their never got the future they imagined. If one thinks Imlie ke life ki difficulty was to lose Agastya, the coming days are going to be all the more difficult for her.

Given Sonali's reaction (Asma was very good too) and her support to Imlie, I don't think she orchestrated the murder. My doubts are still on Binni.

As expected, no one believed Imlie about the fake contract marriage of Agastya and Binni. No one believed Agastya married Imlie for real, and they in fact blamed her for bad omen/ being the cause of his death. Hopefully the TRP audience are happy and shower loads of TRP to the episode.

Binni already started showing her true colors to Imlie by denying the fake marriage truth, by telling her not to come into their house anymore. Ofc, Imlie (as per Agastya's final wishes) will not tolerate Binni causing pain to the family. Again, like we all predicted, Binni is pregnant and Agastya ke naam pe bill phat gaya. Woh bechara is not here to even defend himself.

I hope Imlie believes Agastya was truthful about the fake marriage and that he will not touch Binni when he really loved Imlie so the child is not his. I am pretty certain, Imlie is going to be pregnant as well.

Future predications:

Imlie will meet Surya and wonder if he is Agastya. Once proved he is not, and when she realizes Binni is torturing the family, she will train Surya to become Agastya and take him to the house to pretend to be Agastya to pardafash karo Binni ka sach.

Agastya definitely is saved/ in a coma and will come back around the mid point of the track - around interval.

I hope to not see Imlie don her white sari outfits, she can wear pastel shades (will miss the sindoor on her forehead ngl). Surya and her interactions will be a treat to watch - she will be all morose and he will try to bring happiness into her life.

Sorry I cant tag more than 10.

ETA: I dont think it was his spirit coming back, it was more like her hallucination.

On a lighter note, seriously makers such a blah picture of Sai as Agastya y'all found. Woh bhi itna bada size ka pic tha, ek dhang ka picture hi le lete.

At the moment, it’s kind of like Schrödinger’s cat. Agastya is nor dead or alive. His fate really depends on how the audience receives his absence and Surya’s presence.

They gave us some closure wali dialogues for his character when he was latkao-ing on the branch before his death and today again as Imlie’s Himmat Ka Samundar wala hallucination atma.

At the same time, they left it open ended with not showing the audience his face. All it takes is one dialogue in the future mentioning how his face was mangled when he was found and there we’d have doubt that it may not have been him.

I haven’t lost my hope, I think we’ve all theorized so much that one of them will probs come true. The same way, we had it on the dot for Binni. I personally like Ren’s recent prediction, it would be a very believable storyline for ITV.

Guys mera dil kehta hai, Agastya ko kuch nahi hua. This is just the interval of this movie, picture abhi baaki hai and our boy will be back. They have left a lot of loopholes so he will pakka be back.

Imlie ka pyar, uska saathi, uski zindagi will not leave her this soon.

PS: I can't now wait for Sai to make an entry as Surya. He is gonna rock the new role as well <3

I had believed that this episode would solidify my fear of Agastya being dead, but instead it has given my hope a new reason to stay alive.

The entirety of the next track is about keeping Agastya’s memory intact. Yes, in the midst we’ll see Surya and Imlie scenes but it’s really dedicated to August Babu.

I’m finding it hard to imagine that Imlie’s happy ending is to lose the love of her life and only have her heart settle for Surya after their time spend together trying to expose Binni’s lies. August Babu was in her every breath, she was so devoted to him in love that she’d risk her life to save him without thinking. What lesson would Radharani give her at this point? That you can love someone with everything you have but never as much as you love me?

Even if she comes to care for Surya and somehow even love him, wouldn’t it pale in comparison to her feelings for Agastya? In real life, a lot of people are fortunate enough to move on after losing the person they love. I’m not saying second chances at love aren’t possible. But in this shows reality, believing that she’d love somebody so soon, especially someone whose face is a reminder of the one she lost, it’s not easy to fathom. Imlie’s heart will never fully be there, as she now shares it with Agastya’s memory. That’s why my heart tells me August Babu will be back.

I could be absolutely wrong and they could give us another slow burn love story between Surya and Imlie if the audience really likes their pairing. They could end the show with them getting married as Agastya’s ghost gives them blessings from the afterlife. I still feel it’s weird if he’s actually August Babu’s twin brother. Either ways, as always aage ki kahani jaane TRP rani!

Okay watched the episode. They have not shown the face to the audience but they show it as the family confirming that it was Agastya who died. Sonali lifts the cover of the face and she is shocked and so is the family.

Imlie comes running to the temple where they got married in the morning and we have a lengthy monologue as to why Radha Rani did this. Kind of very tearful. I couldn't even watch it properly. Sigh. Hope the trp audience who loves to see a heroine weeping is happy.

Then they switch to 2 days after and it is shown that Imlie is still at the temple in the pink saree. Bulbul tries to get Imlie to eat something but Imlie refuses. Then they showed Agastya in spirit coming and asking her to eat and the dialogues kind of implied that Imlie has to go on in life and Agastya is now part of her memories. I am seriously going to feel sad if they show that Surya is a new character and not Agastya in disguise.

They have a pooja kept for Agastya and Imlie comes there and we have the Binni refusing to leave the house saying she is widow of Agastya and Dadi then throws Imlie out. Imlie says that Babu did not marry you but she can not prove it to anyone and Binni steadyfast refuses the charge. Only Sonali is with Imlie but the rest of the family blame Imlie only. And Imlie is thrown out.

And in precap like we suspected Binni is pregnant. Sonali tells Imlie that Binni is about to be a mother and Imlie is shocked.

I am personally not sure what the creatives want to show. There is now no way that Binni can be proved false without Agastya confirming it himself. Binni might have be the one who caused the accident but she is now going to stay in the mansion as Agastya's widow and is going to give the child Agastya's name. So don't know how Imlie is going to prove that Binni was lying all the time. There are only 2 ways that Binni can be proved false

- Agastya confirming it himself and for that Agastya needs to be back

- Binni can be frightened into confessing the truth by the doppelganger Surya posing as Agastya.

Somehow I feel the second one will happen. Imlie will get Surya to pose as Agastya and then Binni will confess that she is not carrying Agastya's child.

Today by all means it looks as if Agastya is dead. Someone please give me some hope. Sigh

Great they didn’t show the face .. so it was just for promo .. whether Agastya will come back depends on trp .. but also can’t see the entire rituals .. glad it was not there

They have purposely kept the possibility of Agastya returning open by not showing his face to the audience. What was seen by the family can easily be changed/ refuted in the future episodes.

I agree with you that knowing how deep Agastya and Imlie loved each other, Imlie would never be able to move on. Specially with someone whose face would remind her of Agastya. Aisa pyar life main ek baar hota hai so Surya is not the end game with Imlie.

I don't think the audience will accept a love story between Surya and Imlie (Surya as a character has not even been established so the CVs don't know the feedback yet). Plus considering they may want to bring Agastya back, they will have to be reserved in what kind of scenes they show between Surya and Imlie..see the trp audience doesn't like one woman two men kind of stories.

Agastya is loved by the audience and you are right, he will continue to be a focal point in the story and drive the future episodes. He will return, mujhe pura yakeen hai
