He actually is an English medium guy, from Dubai. His native language apparently is English too from what I know from an interview. As here in Mauritius, our native is Mauritian creole a French mix, we also know French and English (mandatory in primary school as from class 1 & secondary school but can drop French the last 2yrs of high school). Hindi/Tamil/Telugu/Urdu/Marathi/Mandarin are optional as from class 1. Some people prefer not to, others who do drop them in class 6 or 9th.

So, I don't really see an accent in this part of the world, but he's trying his best.

After watching few episodes of Ashok...felt like Adnan should have waited for some good project instead of jumping into Ekta's stable so quickly.Watched a clip of y'days episode and felt like his dialogue delivery in that clip is stuck to Viaan Raghuvanshi. Now sure if Muzammil has experience in this genre. I think even director needs experience in directing historical/mythological shows !

I actually thought ashoka will be a weekend show. Which would have given them enough time to retake and edit. Ab they will serve maggie noodles 😮‍💨

Thanks for acknowledging my this post. I feel Adnan is giving his best but oh well, they might have wanted "new year, new show" tag line and were under a time crunch. Apparently, every actor who refused Ashok was a popular ML actor like Nakkul Mehra level. If that YouTube video is to be believed, they were surely trying to cash on the popularity of top actors for this show, hint: Mallika Singh & Adnan Khan, 2 top leading actors, who don't seem to have that chemistry, hopefully yet. So in a short time frame, where actors kept refusing the show, for obvious reasons, they kept the ones who agreed and already had their Original Ekta Gang from other shows (Ref: Naagin, Kyunki Saas, Kaavya Anjali, etc...) and of course their BGM.

Note: I didn't reference my Master Thesis as well as I did here.🤭😏

I don't think his native language is English ! Should be Arabic as it's official language of Dubai but Hindi/Urdu are also spoken prominently. Here he needs to speak shuddh Sanskrit/Hindi which is difficult even for native Hindi speakers!!
